Wish I could have read the IWC during the attitude era. Be fascinating to read about how much the best ever, Rock and Austin "sucked". (Or maybe the IWC was positive on them I dont know). Trust me when I say the Attitude Era was not beloved as most here say it was. Wrestling websites made it an art form shitting on WWF Raw and ppvs with the glee of teen aged girl meeting One Direction. Early message boards gave birth to the current cynicism among fans. People like Scott Keith and pre WCW Mark Madden were held in high regards. Austin and Rock were hated. Triple H was the IWC fave. Once most here are gone and a new breed comes along, this era will be loved and that current era won't be good enough for them. Because most of the posters here currently were kids and preteens during the Monday Night Wars.

If you guys are talking about the intro to Raw, then this entire thread is moot because Sheamus was the last guy before Reigns to get the closing shot. FACT!

Austin and Rock were both fantastic performers that we were lucky to have. We dont have either now, just Triple H. Forever.

Been part of countless message boards and Yahoo groups long dead. The mentality going on now was the same as it was almost 20 years ago. People were against giving a rookie like Kurt Angle a main event push. But Billy Gunn totally paid his dues and deserved that spot. And like how Cena is acussed of stalling and/or killing careers and cutting infantile promos, the Rock was getting that treatment.

And Edge and Christian were basically being treated like The Usos are today... Stale because they were always fighting the same teams and always in the title hunt. Probably getting a bit off-topic now.

Its crazy and it isnt that Cena or Reigns now are as good as Rock and Austin were, or Hogan or Bret Hart etc. Cena is not as good as Rock or Austin (overall) in my opinion, though hes still a very, very good talker and probably a better in ring worker than them now. He has also had a great run. However he has also had a lot of crappy cringworthy moments so I do understand the IWC criticism. If the IWC existed during Hogans entire run on top during the 80´s Im sure there would have been hate there too. Take Austin. Youve been on the wrestling net since 97. Was he an IWC darling in 97, with his great character and matches, but then turned on by the IWC in 98 and 99 as they decided they had gotten bored of him? I dont know if its rose tinted goggles but I can watch back basically every segment promo and match from Rock and Austin in the attitude era and think its all great (Austin, and Rock actually, both sucked in 2002 though).

How dare they put Reigns put in the credits! The opening credits should only be for IWC darlings! People on this site have forgotten, that there are WWE fans out there, who are not part of the IWC. The "IWC" doesn't exist. It's a bogeyman created by people who can't be bothered actually coming up with a meaningful argument. It's 2015, somewhere between 2-3 billion people are actively on the internet, and message boards are increasingly becoming more of an active platform for them. Anyone who enjoys wrestling (or anything) can find a message board and start typing away. So sick of seeing the term "IWC" as if it's this secret club and we're in the mid 90s still.

Reigns makes it too easy to make fun of him with some of his lines.
"I'm going to punch you in the face as many times as it takes."
"I'm gonna make it rain up in this bitch"
I wonder how many times he has to practice this stuff before he can say it without laughing.
Also this isn't Reigns specific, but ending his zingers towards heels with "bitch" and then pausing for the "oh no he didn't!" from the crowd. When Reigns does it it is somehow more hilarious than when someone like Cena does.
