Can't say I'm too surprised. I wondered what he was still doing there when guys like Styles & Daniels have been long gone. I expect him to go back to ROH or maybe Japan.

Thank god for that. Lucha Underground, take it away my friends because adding Joe to that crazy awesome thing you've got going on right now would make me mark out for eternity.

Following Punk's example Joe will now write for DC Comics, despite no history as a writer, artist, or editor.
Given DC's recent output, no one will notice.

Oh thank goodness. The man hasn't done anything remotely interesting for the last 6 years he's been there.
How are they gonna write him out of the BDC?

I believe I've said on this forum before that by the end of this year you'll have 5-6 main event guys (Abyss, Storm, Roode, MVP, Hardy, Angle) maybe 10 midcarders who have no other options (Robbie, Jessie, Melendez, Crazy Steve etc) and an undercard filled with independent guys nobody has seen ever.
I could see Aries being gone in 2015 and I think Lashley will leave to focus on MMA. January 2016 will be even more lacking of stars then it is today. As for Joe himself he will make an absolute killing on the indies and I see an ROH return in his future. Throw in semi regular NJPW dates and Joe will be back to his old self destroying people and putting on great matches.
Great for Joe, great for the fans, bad for TNA.

Considering how much shit he's put up with for years now, I can't imagine what would make him leave now.

If this is true, This was something he should've done a while ago to be honest. The company after he lost to Sting in 08 never showed any sign of caring about him or getting behind him after drawing a penis on his face, getting kidnapped by Ninjas, year long losing streak, and other stuff.
I will say this, if he beats and whips himself into shape instead of just going through the motions, places like New Japan will be interested in snatching him up in a hurry. Or another promotion like LU. Look at AJ for example, the guy's having the best run of his career. Joe's 36, if he hits the gym and works hard and motivates himself he could easily have the same kind of run AJ is having.

Considering how much shit he's put up with for years now, I can't imagine what would make him leave now. 10 years ago he was one of the most beloved wrestlers by the smart marks and was even over with the casual fans. It's now 2015 and the man hasn't been used properly in about 7 or 8 years. He became "just another guy" and a face in the background for another aging ex WWE star and his feud against another aging ex WWE star. I don't know if that's what made him leave but honestly if I were being misused at my job and always taking a backseat to an aging ex WWE Midcarder who doesn't have it anymore I'd probably want out as well.

Concerning if this is true, you know the one guy I wanna see him fight?
Tomohiro Ishii, I'd pay good money to see the two just beat the hell out of one another.

I don't know about NJPW. Wasn't there issues with Joe working for someone else? Plus with all the injuries, wear and tear on his body, I don't know that he'd want to head to Japan and work that style. I'd imagine the indies and maybe LU but I don't know that he could even pull that off with the stink of TNA on him.

If true, it's about damn time. Joe should've cleared out of there years ago.

I think it was NOAH who didn't like him, due to them perceiving him as a Morishima (Their Golden Boy at the time) knockoff. AJ's done a good job of washing TNA off of him. Like I've mentioned if Joe gets himself into shape and goes out and be motivated instead of riding it out, he could easily fix the damage done over the past half dozen years.

For those questioning the legitimacy of this, PWInsider is saying people in TNA are confirming Joe is indeed done with TNA. I thought it was something to do with him "slumming it" in Zero 1 or something. Been so long though I do not remember. On your second point, I do agree that he could put in the effort and become a top draw on the indies, I just don't know that he wants to. That was always the knock on him in TNA, he didn't care to get in or keep in shape leading to him being injured and not getting top spots. AJ for all the crap on him, he always tried, he never let himself go or had the aura of not giving a f*** that Joe had at times. So Joe now not only needs to overcome the stink of his TNA run but put in a lot more effort to get back in classic Joe shape (or close to it because he is a decade older with more injuries). That is a lot to ask I think.

That's sad.
Primarily cuz even though he was a name for em, he was never THE GUY like he could/shoulda been.
Which, let's be real, is a pattern for them.

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, people in Japan have always seen Joe as a bit of a knock off of a lot of the top Japanese guys from throughout the years so him going there doesn't seem realistic. Hope he tears it up wherever he goes though, I still really rate Joe.
