Do I want to pay 100 bucks to watch Mayweather run away from an opponent for a few rounds? Not even with a gun to my head.

They are out their cotton pickin minds if they think i'm paying 100 dollars on a PPV based on one fight. It finally happens but I expect a somewhat entertaining but typical Floyd fight. Manny is going to come out aggressive prob the first 6 rounds and Floyd will just weather the storm and outbox him the rest. Yeah, that's what I see happening. Manny will come out aggressive, Mayweather will cause him to miss a lot, Manny will get tired, and then Mayweather will probably just play with him. By round 5 I think you'll see Manny breathing heavy, while Mayweather has barely broken a sweat.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Floyd trade with Manny first two rounds just to appease some critics and show he's not scared of Manny, and then he goes to his usual game plan as stated. There is no doubt by the time the fight comes, Floyd would have simulated the fight in his mind over 100 times to try and figure out best way to win.

My first thought when seeing this on ESPN was this is probably the last big payoff boxing could give to a mainstream audience for the foreseeable future and it happened 5 years too late. I'll probably go to a local bar to see it, just to watch what is basically going to be the Irish wake of boxing

I am pumped for this fight, but $99.95 is insane. I don't know if I'd pay for that for Tyson/Holyfield or Hagler/Leonard.
I will probably still end up getting it, since it might be boxing's last hurrah, but there's no way they're hitting 3 million buys at a $100 price point.

DISH is putting ads for this on the screen saver for the Hopper (but not the Joeys strangely). Also, if you order it before May 1, DISH will give you 2 free PPV movies, 1 month of EPIX, 1 month of Showtime, 20% off a sho.com order and free classic fights and boxing movies on the PPV sports channels. Price point is the $99/$89.

Arum is blaming everything on Mayweather and MGM.
They're embarrassing themselves," Arum said of the MGM officials, who he has feuded with previously. "They're trying to get more tickets to be kicked back to Al Haymon to sell on the secondary market but they can't sell any tickets until we have a signed agreement. They can't use Manny's name without that agreement."

I've said it before and I'll say it again now, I will accept that this fight is happening when they touch gloves and the bell rings. If it happens, it's late. Way late. Mayweather is gonna kill him. Then what? Boxing is just as dead as it was a year ago. Nobody is going to watch the undercard. Nobody will care. If they are smart, they will work the fight and have Floyd carry him to the tenth. Pacquio is old and worn out. I'm not watching. I hope it is the great fight everyone wanted, but I don't think it will be

Does boxing have *Card subject to change*? Be funny if millions of people pay $99 to watch the undercard nobody ever heard of then the announcer screams "We're outta time, Goodnight everybody!"

The deal is signed. Tickets between $1,500 to $7,500. And according to what I've heard, only 500 tickets will be available to the public, with the rest being handled by the various parties involved. Yes, 500. And they are expecting a $74 million gate. For one match. I'm so rooting for this Bout to Knock the Other Guy Out to end with a Pacquiao first-round KO for shits and giggles.
