Thats why people say Boxing is dead These are people who never followed boxing to begin with and actually thing Mayweather-Pacquiao is the "fight of the century." Their unsubstantiated argument's pretty meaningless.

Would have been cool if they had Kell Brook vs Amir Khan on the undercard.

I wanted to catch the fight at a bar here in Sacramento but apparently the license to stream the fight is thousands of dollars and most people aren't going to front that kind of cash. The ones that did decide to do so are charging about $30 a head just to get in. This all means that there's not a chance of me getting to see it.

I was watching all access on showtime's shosports youtube channel, and Floyd looked so focused, unlike his other all access episodes from past fights, he wasn't talking shit or guaranteeing victory, or being cocky with all of his flunkies and leeches, he didn't go to parties, he didn't showed his fancy cars, or go to yoga classes with his call girls...I mean girlfriends, shit they interviewed one of the women and she said that they were gonna have a BBQ like they always did before the fight but Floyd cancelled it saying that he needs to focus, he didn't act like his normal self.
Mayweather is scared, I don't know if he'll actually lose, because he always manages to find a way. Chris Rock actually brought a good point about Tyson always ran from Riddick Bowe and refused to fight him. Maybe that's why he put all those ridiculous demands to Pacquiao five years ago when they were negotiating the fight, he fears Manny.
Another fact that Mayweather is a changed man, he wrote a letter to all his flunkies saying basically that he's gonna retire soon and that he can't keep supporting them.

I wish Samuel L Jackson's character from The Great White Hype was promoting this fight.

Heard it was being preempted due to the Westminster Dog Show. Such a shame.

I'll try and find a place with no cover. Try Alley Katz or Republic.

Floyd got lost on the way to the building because he couldn't read the directions.

Michelle Beadle of ESPN and Rachel Nichols of CNN have both been banned from the MGM Grand by Floyd's team. Simply b/c they call him out on him beating the hell out of women.

The cost is based on the fire code capacity of the bar i.e. it's $6500 for a 200 person capacity place to air this fight. They charge the hefty cover to ensure they break even and then everything else is pure profit. I live right across the river from Manhattan, and most places in the city are at least $30 (plus drink minimums) and $100 for any type of seating. I'm going to a pop up place that is showing it in Brooklyn with no cover, but they'll get sued if they get caught.

Build up has been disappointing for me. I was hoping for some trash talk and at least one brawl. Everyone has been too nice.
