But, I don't blame you. I mean, if we can't trust a religious nut to administer proper justice, who can we trust? Yeah, this is why I'm not exactly overjoyed about her getting imprisoned and possibly killed later. The Sparrows seem even worse than her. At least she didn't have people killed over heresy or blasphemy of all things. Tommen will be so mad his mother and wife are imprisoned he'll write a strongly worded letter about it! But not TOO strongly worded, he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I don't know, he looked legit pissed during this episode. That's another reason I'm not sure Cersei being arrested is such a good thing: without her to control him, he might do something stupid and cause a massacre and/or start a civil war. Or he'll try and only end up killed by the Sparrows, and I dare not imagine what Cersei will do if se loses another child. And then with the twist that she had coated her blade with a slow-acting poison, which is a very stupid idea for a fight; you know, something where your best bet is to kill your enemies quickly. And then she gives him the antidote anyway, making the whole thing entirely pointless. The idea would be to kill them outright with the dagger but if your opponent happens to kill you then as long as you at least cut them they'll also die a short time later. It's straight out of Oberyn's playbook.[/quote] Or you could use a fast-acting poison and kill them right here and there instead of giving them an opportunity to kill you for no reason. You know, the thing Oberyn actually did while fighting the Mountain and which would have worked had Clegane not gottena lucky shot before collapsing himself. Slow-acting poison is what you use if you want to be covert and be far away when the victim dies. If you're already fighting them directly, you use something that will quickly kill or at least paralyse them.

For a second there, I thought that the poison Tyene used on Bronn would only take effect if the guy got a boner or something. That would have been a terrible way to go.
And yeah, it was totally satisfying to see Cersi's evil plan completely backfire in her face.
That's all I got.

Just as long as he got the confession, implicated Tywin, and have the Mountain could die in agony from the slow-acting poison.

Just a thought, apart from Arya, did this episode feature all the main characters for this season? Or you could use a fast-acting poison and kill them right here and there instead of giving them an opportunity to kill you for no reason. You know, the thing Oberyn actually did while fighting the Mountain and which would have worked had Clegane not gottena lucky shot before collapsing himself. The Mountain lived for days after the duel in the book. In the show he lived for what appears to be at least a day after which is probably the same amount of time that has passed in the Dorne storyline.

Not that I think Cersei will die, but if she did bite it who would be left to be the main villain? I guess the Boltons (especially Ramsay) could take the mantle, but I'm not sure they're going to survive long after the Battle of Winterfell (mind you, I still have yet to read the books). I have a big feeling everything is leading to Stannis vs. Daenerys. Little Finger maybe. As a sub-boss maybe the High Sparrow? He's got an army, has a faith where Gods are clearly going to play a big role. Plus he's genuine, he honestly believes in this and as Cerci says, that means he's going to come after everyone eventually. He can't be bought off, can't be reasoned with or played, he's ruthless and will not stop.

Melissandre (if she is eventually able to get Stannis to kill his own daughter or has her demon spawn do it for her), maybe.

For me the High Sparrow is climbing up the ladder quickly as the most hated character on the show.
They way he's had the upper hand in every interaction so far this season makes me want to see him get stomped on.

ooooooooooooooooooooh boy isn't there a saying about not going too near a feeding lion ..... or a tiger ..... or a dog ..... know what happens? yep, you get narked in by someone you know VERY CLOSELY and SLEPT WITH and get your smug pert arse thrown in a 6x6 stone cell hells bells did THAT plan backfire, far too confident and far too smug, and with her spreading the small council away to far off lands ..... her only hope is now tommen ..... but we easily forget about QYBURN and whatever he's turned the mountain into and with jaime in hot bother in dorne, this whole mission might well be for A BIG FAT ZERO, the whole lannister family are gonna need one hell of a outcard! i laughed a LOT when cersei got naffed at the end and we simply do not get enough of the stark's girls lovely long red hair, and got treated by BOTH margaery and sansa's lovely locks ..... one obvioulsy cleaner and combed through than the other and good for jorah finally getting back to danaerys, even though she might not want him back, but as always a little gift makes the girls all squigly i didn't notice if the candle in the broken tower's window WAS actually lit, when we saw brienne looking? and i guess the sand snakes like to play with their fighting prey, or was it simply protecting themselves from getting caught with one of THEIR blades, by having the antedote around their necks! bronn is much appreciative of this fortunate turn in luck ..... and also it's the CLOSEST he'll get to her in that way STUPID SEXY MELLISANDRE ..... that is all three more unmissable episodes to go ..... WHO GET'S TO LIVE ..... WHO BLOODY KNOWS

By the way, is it me or is that little boy at Castle Black being set up for something later on down the road?
I genuinely don't know. Maybe they should put more reaction shots of him to confirm. They haven't shown him reacting to Jon's actions enough I feel.

Although his arch was already executed as a set up as the one who killed Ygritte.

Finally got around to seeing the episode, and that was bloody awesome.
Crowning moment of awesome for Sam. GHOST! Gettig bigger every day. Jorah displays his super power (Fighting ability tied directly to wanting to impress a lady) Strong Belwas cameo... maybe, freeing Tyrion. Tyrion meets Dany. Awesome Bronn scene, with a surprisingly attractive sand snake that actually advanced the plot. Aemon with the heartbreaking scene. Queen of Thorns running wild.
And above all, Cersei lost her smirk and got tossed in a cell by Brienne's nun sister.
Can't wait for next week.

Why would Jon not take Ghost, other than CGI budget concerns? How long can Ghost follow the command "Stay"?

If the show follows the path of the books, {Spoiler}He's probably going to be the one to shank Jon Snow.
