So umm...does this mean Bran is back for the flashbacks to be linked to books? If so, DAMN! I hate the waste of time his chapters and segments are on the show and books (to me anyway, if you like him cool). The only part of his act on the show that is worth watching now is Hodor and that joke has gotten older than the Knights King. Orsha on Theon was the last hurrah of OMG moments for me with him. I don't care about the Reeds, I don't care about Wargging, I don't care about Rikkon and three eyed crows. Great ve me Kings landing, Essos and Winterfell. Honestly, I don't really give a damn about any of the "beyond the wall" stuff. All I want is for something to happen with Jon that lots of people theorize about and for the Westeros throne to be taken by someone worthy. I don't give a damn about wargging, stupid f***ing ice zombies, 3 eyed crows, boring white walkers, men of the watch, or any of that crap. The families, wars, and intrigue for the throne were far more interesting and fun than the boring cliche crap beyond the wall. If George, and D&D really want to shock me and force that "OMG!!!!!" moment out of me, they'll have the f***ing white walkers and their zombies start to come down south, kill everyone in the Night's Watch and then all horrifically die by the dumb collapsing wall, forever ending their stupid dreams of conquest or eternal winter or turning everyone into zombies, or whatever other moronic thing they had planned.

Got news for some of you. The way they get there will be different but, the story will end the same way every other fantasy series ends. Martin and the showrunners are romantics with an admiration for Tolkein at the end of the day. If you expect anything else, you might as well not even bother. At the end of the day, this will have the same exact bittersweet, yet heroic ending that the Lord of the Rings does. I guaran-damn-tee it. It will be a much more tragic roller-coaster of a ride to said ending but, that's what's going to happen. I'm so sick and tired of everyone acting like A Song of Ice and Fire is this series that will change fantasy forever. It won't. The tropes will be different, and the stories will be told in different ways but, the Lord of the Rings ending will always happen. Always. It drives me crazy when people act like ASOIAF will change everything about fantasy.

Me, I just want the ending to actually happen. How many years have we been waiting for winter to come?
