Brienne hit the tree, Bronn/Trystane has the antidote, and a witch whose religion involves resurrection powers just arrived at the wall. I'll eat my hat if at least two of those aren't true. If you're proven wrong, do you want any ketchup or mustard to eat it with?

I'm guessing the Ironborn still hold Deepwood Motte in the show. I thought that was the castle Reek helped Ramsay take last season.

More casting notices. 3 Characters: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Qhogo and Akrat: They’re seeking mixed ethnicity or other non-white actors for the roles. The successful young warriors need to be tall, confident, with swagger and linguistic bravado. It’s noted that the actors will have to speak in a fictional language. I think it’s safe to say that these are Dothraki.
Bower: He is a powerless servant, numb to the horror he serves. He’s filming around one of the days that below “outlaw band” members are so he may be connected to them. He is required to have a Northern or Midland English accent and appears in one episode.
Lachlan: He’s the big leader of a group of renegades who have turned on the land that they swore to protect. They’re now extorting the poor and vulnerable. He appears in 2 episodes in season 6. 2 Characters: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Flynn: He’s part of an outlaw band. The group is using religion to justify terrorizing and extorting what they need from the people of the countryside. He appears in 2 episodes in season 6. He appears to be part of Lachlan’s band.
Japeth: Another member of the outlaw band is this lieutenant. He’s a “rough-and-ready type” with a strong physical presence, also appearing two episodes. 1 Character: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Legendary Fighter: A man in his thirties or forties who is a great swordsman and a paragon of knighthood. He carries a famous sword. The show is seeking a very impressive swordsman for the role- the best in Europe, for a week of filming fight scenes for a season 6 role. His ethnicity/race isn’t specified, unlike many other roles. 2 Characters: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Lord of Noble Northern House: (Casting age anywhere between 25-50) The lord is a savage warrior, and he rules a distinguished house in the very far North, and the role is said to be an impactful one. He’s described as a massive bear of a man with a beard and temper to match, and hatred that run deep, and he can be violent. The show’s looking for someone with a powerful physique who can tower over other cast members, a Northern English Accent and specifies he has to be at least 180 cm tall. The role will be on 2 episodes.
Lord of Northern Stronghold: The show’s looking for an actor in his late thirties or forties to play another lord, one that’s ruthless and calculating. The frightening lord rules a vassal household with a castle stronghold. He’ll be in 3 episodes this year, with 20 days of filming this summer and fall. 6 Characters: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Hunter: He’s a rough army officer on the hunt appearing in an action scene with main cast, in one episode.
Submissive Maester: The show’s casting a maester in his twenties- a timid young maester. He’s decent but has trouble standing up to others. He appears in one episode in season 6.
Green Recruit: A young man with one line and one day of filming in August.
Sympathiser 1, 2 & 3: These are rough military types, with a day of filming.
Housemaid: She’s the motherly nanny (with a tight whip) to a large household. The show wants an actress between the ages of 45-65 with a Northern English Accent. She’ll be in 2 episodes.
Father: He’s tough and old, an alpha male patriarch. The show is looking for a man with a Northern English Accent. He appears in one episode and has 2 lines.

What is so special about Franken-Gregor anyway?
Is he supposed to be invincible or immortal or something?

What is so special about Franken-Gregor anyway? Is he supposed to be invincible or immortal or something? No one knows it yet since he hasn't been cut loose on anyone. Zombie Mountain is a super strong wight. They were pretty hard to kill.

Heh, I know Game of Thrones frowns on any non-Tyrion related joy or fun, but I think it'd be funny if Franken-Gregor got into his first fight...and sucked and got slaughtered easily. Like, he's literally as slow, dumb, and clumsy as the old Boris Karloff Frankenstein was, and has lost all the brutality and fighting ability that made him such a force. Yeah, he'll keep coming after getting hit and he's stronger than ever...but he can't hit the broad side of a barn and is EASY to dodge and counter. Oh well, it would happen in a typical Dungeons and Dragons game I'd run!

What is so special about Franken-Gregor anyway? Is he supposed to be invincible or immortal or something? Well, in the books, they supposedly send his head to Dorne as a gift, so he's a headless, uber strong zombie warrior who doesn't need to eat & doesn't feel pain. So yeah, I wouldn't f*** with him.

So Myrcella seems pretty cool with her uncle-dad, considering that that it means her brother isn't king, she isn't a princess, and her marriage to the Dorne prince would be null and void.
Assuming all their heads don't end up on spikes, that is.

Assuming all their heads don't end up on spikes, that is. That scene was so dumb. Are you really happy that your dad is the hated Kingslayer and not the popular war-hero who rebelled against the Mad King? Do you not realise that completely screws up everything for you? That scene was solet designed to emotionally manipulate the audience to be sad when she dies. Story, logic, and characterization be damned. That, or every women that steps in Dorne becomes a "bad pussy." and incest is just a thing and not a creepy taboo that brings about the likrs of Joffrey.

What's going to happen with Margery, though? I know this is not going to happen but I would love it if the next season continuing the scene with Cersei in Franken-Gregor arms, and then Margery walks in and is all like "Awww, I thought I would never be released, so good to see you!" Turns out she got released a long time ago and her and Tommen were up his in room bangin so nobody could reach him.

NO ONE noticed this, huh? Maybe that's what they'll use to keep Stannis alive if they somehow decide to. Brienne aimed for him but hit the....whatever the f*** that thing is instead.

So he's even more like the Tank from Left 4 Dead now? NO ONE noticed this, huh? Was that shot in the actual episode? It looks like it could be a behind-the-scenes picture from a different angle than what we saw.

I watched it over the weekend and overall I found it to be a "Meh" season
What I did like though - Hardhome was awesome - Tyrion was great.....for what little he did - Ramsey's gleeful sadism still cracks me up - Natalie Dormer - Cersei
Everything else made me either *Shrug* or *WTF?*
