Why isn't this the talk of the message board? Zack Ryder of all people busted out a 450 Splash. I guarantee not one viewer tuned in and thought, "Yeah, Ryder's losing... BUT only after hitting two finishers and missing a 450."
I had ZERO clue he had that in him. Impressive, Mr. Ryder. Very impressive.
Is it in .shortFilm form yet?

I was reminded of Angle trying it on Sting, only more successful I suppose.

I thought that told an awesome story of Ryder going above himself in desperation to beat Cena.

Ryder is fairly decent in the ring when given the chance to actually work, as opposed to just getting smacked around like he normally does. He's not great or anything, but he can certainly do more than hit his signature spots and eat finishers.

I thought it'd be "here is your beloved Zack Ryder....covered in Kevin Owens!"

And that's why we haven't seen many Zack Ryder 450s.

Zack has always done this bump when he gets eliminated from battle royals, so I guess it's not too shocking he could do it as an offensive move.
It looks like he would have missed Cena even if he hadn't moved, though.

Give the guy a chance. He deserves a higher spot on the card. Instead of R-Truth vs. Stardust all the time, add Ryder, Rose, Bo, etc. to the mix to add some variety. I hate the juvenile mentality WWE has where if they don't like someone, they ignore them like a middle school cool kid or something.

Ryder might not be main event or even upper midcard material but he and so many others could stand to be booked better. Hell, the lower tier guys should be the ones doing this open challenge to begin with. Save the matches with the likes of Ambrose, Kane, or Barrett for PPV and let the open challenge be the lesser talents' time to shine.

I thought Cena cut an awesome promo. Then Ryder came out and I zoned out.

There's something that irks me about Ryder so I love seeing him get beat up. I have to give him credit though, he's underrated as a wrestler.

Honestly I kind of hope this means more wrestling appearances for Ryder and less squashes match and shit. Like dude was never really bad in the ring and is way more jacked then he was 3 years ago. Plus the lower undercard midcard scene is pretty stale. I have a feeling he hasn't improved much on the mic or presenting his character but meh whatever stick him in that weird lower midcard purgatory hell where he can have meaningless competitve matches against R-Truth, Stardust, Fandango, Curtis Axel, etc.

He named the move after the number of jobs he's done this year.

And that's why we haven't seen many Zack Ryder 450s. Yeah, that shit is Billy Kidman-tier. I mean, I give the kid kudos for trying something new, but a 450 Splash is about more than simply completing the rotation. Has there ever been a less tense match in the open challenge though?

To be fair, he's going to protect himself more on one he's missing. If you just belly flopped, it'd probably hurt like hell.
