Ruben Blades acts like he knows EXACTLY what's going on. I wonder if he's going to tell some story about how a similar outbreak happened in El Salvador or something.
Between him and the knife kid from the high school, its strange how some characters act like they've already seen every zombie movie and others act like zombie movies don't exist.

I was behind on this weeks episode so saw it last night. it was decent. Most of the main characters are assholes. The Barber guy knows what is going on. Actually felt sorry for the dog

I cringed when the girl gave herself a tattoo. Now's not a good time to be playing with needles. There's a virus going on
And what if it turns out Knife Kid is the one communicating from afar?

Tonight's episode was great. The end scene reminded me A LOT of Shane's story about when he visited Rick in the hospital.

I just cant make up my mind about this show. I hated the first episode, but then episode 2 and 3 were pretty good. Then episode 4 drove me mad with just how stupid everyone is.
I think that's going to be my problem with this show going forward. Because it is telling us a story we already know the end of (namely that the zombies win), you pretty much know the stupid people will win almost any major decision in order to lead to that ending.
Plus, the whole evil army/government bit that's creeping in.....again, the show goes to the cliché well at every turn.
At least the mother slapped the druggy, I enjoyed that bit. He really deserved that, but again, the way he and the family were treated by the army, and then the mother's reaction, stupid and cliché ridden again.

I doubt it, it looked like a bunch of muzzle flashes in the house at the end. I think that moment was more a set up to maybe wake Travis up a little bit.

I liked this weeks episode, although the whole "army turning evil in an apocalypse" is really, ridiculously clichéd.
So, the flashing light. Is that a survivor who has now been killed by the soldiers, or is it where they're taking the ill and putting a bullet in them before they die naturally and turn?
I'm going towards the former. Since they took that other woman with medical skills with them, I actually think there will be a medical facility of some sorts rather than the soldiers just executing the ill like Barbershop Man feared.
I'm also going to predict the girl who gave herself a tattoo is going to get shot after the soldiers mistake it for a bite and that Chris is going to be the f***wit who leads to the safe zone's downfall by doing something stupid.

Nick may be the one though trying to score that next high Yeah, he's a possible choice too. With Chris though, I'm expecting him to sneak out to rescue a survivor and bring them back to the camp and it turns out they're infected. To be honest, I could also see the mum or Travis doing that too.

So who dies? If the regular show taught us anything, characters have a life span equal to the guys on Game of Thrones. I don't believe Ruben Blades is contracted beyond this season. He and his wife die while the daughter moves on. The ex wife dies. Chris is iffy

Who gave her self a tattoo? The daughter? Isn't that the drawing her boyfriend drew on her?

The question of who dies first is complicated. Like most zombie movies/shows the best kind of 'death' in this series is when a beloved character 'turns' and has to be mercy killed by their loved ones. Who in the show would pull at the heartstrings of the audience the most with such a death?
Leaning towards Alicia, bonus points if her Suburgatory boyfriend is the one that bites her, and forces Nick or The Mom to decapitate her out of mercy.
It could also be Ex-Wife though, and Mr. Mayor could make a show about holding back The Mom from putting a cap in Ex-Wife's skull and they bicker stupidly letting Zombie Ex-Wife get closer to biting Mayor until Chris tearfully crushes his mom's head with a sledgehammer.
There are a lot of gleefully grizzly possibilities though we're only on Episode 4! Definitely a female first victim though, bc "Women in Refrigerators" and all that jazz.

I feel Maddie, Travis and Nick are the most likely to make it to next season, so I'm hoping one of them gets killed off to keep me on my toes. Yeah the Walking Dead kills off tons of characters, but it has a lot of 'safe' ones too. Whenever Rick, Darryl, Carl and to a lesser extent Carol, Glenn and Maggie get into trouble in the show there's just no suspense. (Although with Glenn that will change this season if a certain character is introduced)
