Spinoff off the of the other thread.
Since so many people had various answers for Triple H years they disliked, so when it comes down to it, at what time was it most crucial for HHH to do the job, but he didn't?
This would've put the guy over the top, help establish him, or the moment was right. While he may have jobbed to this wrestler down the road it was WAY too late. Which instance was the moment HHH should've lost and done the right thing, but didn't.

Damnit, I forgot 2011 and CM Punk.
We can just call that "other" in the poll.

Definitely Booker T. At the time, the fans were crying out for Booker to beat him, and the whole premise of the feud had to end with Booker defeating the dastardly heel. It didn't, because that's not how Triple H rolls, brother.
But you could make a solid case for most of these options, and others, where Triple H should have put people over and didn't.

Here's the thing. The way the angle played out, definitely Booker T. Because...we all understand why.
However, in terms of beating a guy when he was red hot for no good reason, I think RVD, Orton, and CM Punk are better picks. Maybe I'm not remembering it right, but Booker wasn't quite as hot as 2002 RVD, 2009 Randy Orton, or 2011 CM Punk.

Goldberg would've made them money. The had the moment. They had the crowd. Summerslam 2003. And he jobbed to the sledgehammer, just line Sting did in 2015. Goldberg winning the Championship in that chamber after destroy Nash, Jericho, Orton and HBK was great. BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO................

I hate the "Booker T should have won" retrospective, because Booker was basically a midcarder. It should be "Triple H shouldnt have said that" instead, as the angle is the only reason thats ever brought up, not because Booker was super popular or anything at that period.
Goldberg should have won the title in the Elimination Chamber.

I remember it was suppose to be Bad Blood was where he dropped the title, then pushed to Summerslam, then pushed to a forgotten B show of Unforgiven. By the time he defended the title at Survivor Series, they crowd didn't give a crap anymore and that was a shame. It was a mercy killing when he dropped the title back to HHH at Armaggedon.

Call me crazy, but I'll throw Test in 1999 in there. He stole the guy's wife, and Test never even really got a chance at revenge. He just started wrestling on heat, "welp, guess I'll take an L on this one". Made him look terrible.

They hyped the heck out of Booker, making him look like a legit threat to Triple H. The Rock was being used to put Booker over a decade before Roman Reigns! And for Trips to win in such one sided manner on a show where it took Austin and Hogan multiple tries to put their opponents away and then not have Booker get any heat back wasp ute burial.

Orton. In 2004 and especially Mania 25. 2009 I get, but why do people say 2004? HHH vs. Orton was a one and done match. Was he really suppose to win it back at Royal Rumble 2005 and defend it against Undertaker at Wrestlemania 21? I don't really remember anything about anyone saying Orton should've won it back in 2004. 2009 was a whole different story. Whatever the year, whatever the gimmick, Orton is HHH's b****. So sad, but true.

So sad, but true. It's less that he should have won it back and more that he lost it after only a month. And clean, to my knowledge. It was too early for him but they did it and should have stuck with it. Losing to HHH after a month really set him back. He wouldn't hold a world title again until October 2007. By the way, those pictures hurt my soul.

I remember this. Wasn't Rock going to lose to Hurricane or something, to put him over, but once HHH got a hold of this, Rock backed out, because he KNEW HHH was going to squash Hurricane to make Rock look weak. So we get Booker elminating Rock instead. That Rock guy, what a selfless dude. HHH..... not so much. I guess Rock never remembers that HHH wanted to bury him in 1997, but having Bret Hart win the Intercontinental Title from him.

You don't want to put over Booker because you want to cement your value as a despicable heel, why not. But then put over that motherf***ing Goldberg! The dude is a big name, he comes to the WWE to wreck shit, that's the only thing he can do! And you spoil his momentum and fumble his whole tenure in the WWE. What a shame that Reign of Terror was.

Crap, I forget Jeff Hardy in 2008 as well. He was DUE. A clean win over HHH would've shot up his stock and make him credible. Damn shame the one and only match of HHH vs. Hardy was not even a clean victory or a title win over HHH. Damn him. Oh yeah... one more thing....

The whole HHH/Nash involvement in the Punk storyline was one of the most moronic things I have ever seen, such an enormous waste of potential.
