According to Bryan Alvarez...maybe SD is also affected since it's also suffering from low ratings/less viewers
Thoughts? Why is Vince surprised? I mean it's surely the kids' fault right?

You know if WWE actually made an effort to make everyone over, then no one single wrestler could tank the ratings.

It's almost like the past ten or so years worth of WWE being completely interchangeable with each other has made people stop watching!

Now, I don't normally get involved in conversations about this person (and there are as we know other issues aside this), but a show that has been on the air for as long as Raw has, and the peaks and troughs it goes through with its ratings, one would suggest replacing its Executive Producer. I don't think any other TV show in, well ever, has had the same producer for this amount of time...

It's alright, the ratings will bounce back.

It's alright, the ratings will bounce back. Uh, doesn't really seem like it. They've been on a steady downward slide for years now and this year especially has been repeatedly setting record lows.

Al Jean's been the showrunner on The Simpsons since 2001, but also has many of the same critiques as Raw (it's beyond stale) leveled at it.

Well, on the one hand, ratings for scripted TV in general have been dropping precipitously for years. On the other hand, ratings for live "events" have been rising steadily with people wanting to "participate" on social media and the like.. It really is hard to see where WWE fits into that, especially when the social media "reach" of the company seems to be at or near record highs as ratings have declined. Maybe they just need to recognize TV ratings don't mean nearly as much these days.

I'd be freaking out over the low ratings lately it's gotten f***ing ridiculous (am I allowed to say f***ing? I can say f***ing right?)
I just said it 3 times, so be it
Anyway WWE ratings are awful they've lost like 20% of their ratings lately in the last year and they'll probably do it again next time. Maybe...just MAYBE!....they should do something different hmm?

It's alright, the ratings will bounce back. Uh, doesn't really seem like it. They've been on a steady downward slide for years now and this year especially has been repeatedly setting record lows. But there's also other points to the ratings setting record lows- as more and more people cut the cord, naturally the ratings for any cable show is going to plummet. Indeed, a lot of the "record lows" for Raw are still high enough to be markedly huge hits- even on network television- right now- and the WWE Network's success with subscriptions seems to show that as well.

I'm glad Vince is still sane enough to worry about this.

The ratings aren't low at all. It's usually the second highest rated show on cable for the night.
TV ratings are down everywhere due to the insane amount of entertainment on offer nowadays.
It's quite amazing that Raw is still doing so well
