{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Disappointed Gus never showed up. But the anagram of this season makes it obvious who left that note for Mike.
Also, next season starts with Jimmy in some deep, deep doo-doo.

Kinda underwhelming, thought we'd get more...but still a good episode.

Chuck sobbing next to his mother = Man, Chuck's not a bad guy. Two minutes later = F YOU CHUCK! {Spoiler}{Spoiler}The ending was ice cold. The moment Chuck realized Jimmy still really cares about him he came up with a plan to bust him. I found Michael McKean's performance in the first season kind of one note and Emmy baiting, but he has knocked it out of the park every episode this season.

I can't wait until next year's penultimate episode, I bet it kicks ass like the last two have.

I'm guessing {Spoiler} Jimmy puts Chuck in the institution to somehow avoid his felony.
And I was thinking Mike was going to shoot Salamanca and be the one to put the guy in the wheelchair. Like Hector would have a stroke/ complicaions due to being shot with a sniper rifle. Didn't turn out that way but maybe Mike will still have something to do with it down the line?
Also loved it at the end when Jimmy entered Chuck's "space room" flabbergasted at its foily opulence.

Kind of disappointed in this season. Last season led to a climax between Jimmy and Chuck. This season just repeated that, "I'm never letting that hold me back again! ... ok, maybe just for another 6 episodes". It was done well, but... just wanted some movement to the plot. Chuck dying could could have led to some character building. But... yeah.
Next season will be fun.

Just when I was starting to sympathize with Chuck a little.
And I share some of the frustration with the pace of the show. Fortunately, it sure looks like things are going to pick up next season.

Chuck realized he had to stoop to Jimmy's level in order to catch him.
It wasn't the most bombastic end to a season, but in terms of subtle character shifts it was actually kinduva big deal considering all of Chuck's grandstanding about the sanctity of the law and how he perceives himself as a "real lawyer" looking down on Jimmy's tricks.

That ending was f***ing brilliant. {Spoiler}I was so worried Chuck was going to die or commit suicide or be sent away because Michael McKean has been fantastic. Like he's already heading up there as the best BB Universe Villain if he isn't already.
The weird part is Jimmy is still a f***ing asshole. Jimmy commiting forgery while causing his brother to have a mental breakdown that nearly cost him his life was beyond scummy. Chuck getting back the client that Kim brought in was scummy but it was still within the law and it's for his firms best interests.
But it's amazing we all have forgiven Jimmy because he owned up to it right away rather than keeping a secret that would destroy inside and we all feel sympathetic for Jimmy despite that Chuck is in the mess he is because of Jimmy and recording him was within his rights of the law.
Now knowing in Season 3 we're going to probably feel more sympathy for Jimmy that Chuck is going to extort Jimmy rather using the tape to alert the authorities right away. But wasn't it Jimmy that told Chuck to extort him earlier in the series?

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Man I'd give anything for this exchange at the start of season 3 Jimmy: I stood up for you. And you lied to me! You liar! Chuck: It's called a hustle, sweetheart! Hey if Zootopia can reference the Breaking Bad universe, then the Breaking Bad universe can reference Zootopia.

{Spoiler}I'm guessing Jim Beaver's gun dealer already works for Gus Fring and is the connection between Mike and Gus. He seems like the kind of guy that Gus likes to have working for him.

I have really been enjoying watching this show since I have been watching it with someone who has never seen Breaking Bad. They know the show is a prequel and I try my hardest not to spoil anything. The only thing I leaked is why the show is called Better Call Saul, after that episode that opens when Jimmy/Saul gets locked in the mall, to which they replied after last nights episode, "so that's why he changes his name."

Point of order, tape recordings of that nature are not admissible as evidence in a court of law.

Point of order, tape recordings of that nature are not admissible as evidence in a court of law. Yeah, that'd be easy enough to cover with "well, he's my brother, he can impersonate my voice!" Speaking of which, I was predicting a tape recorder the moment Chuck started actually setting up the confession, and the first thing I noticed is that Jimmy didn't really sound like his usual bombastic self that entire scene. Foreshadowing his get out of jail free argument?

I love that earlier in the season Jimmy begged his brother to "come crawl around in the muck with me" and Chuck finally had to to get what he wanted. Chuck likes to think himself morally superior but he's no better than Slippin' Jimmy in the end.

Point of order, tape recordings of that nature are not admissible as evidence in a court of law. I was thinking the same thing. Not sure about NM law though. Either way, Jimmy phrased his response in a way that allows for some wiggle room. He was worried about his brother, and has done all kinds of stuff to "accommodate" Chuck's very specialized condition. He basically did A LOT to help Chuck get better and lying to him about changing the address could be along those same lines. Heck, he could even argue he was following Chuck because he was worried about him and that's why he was at the copy shop. On top of that, Chuck's mental state is already in question (and the doctor will back that up).

There are some people who were underwhelmed by the finale.
But I want to mention this: What Better Call Saul did right with their cliffhanger is everything That Walking Dead did wrong. Viewers don't like when characters are 'in the know' about things that the audience isn't (i.e. Negan killing someone as every other Walking Dead character witnesses). Most of us have a tendency to be drawn in when we, as well as the on-screen characters, have no idea what's happening.
We know that Chuck has the tape, and that Jimmy will ultimately end up becoming Saul. However, Jimmy has no idea about being taped. We know it's likely Gus left Mike the note, but Mike doesn't know this. Now we can get excited to see how these events play out and think of how both parties will react to their respective new worlds. As the audience, we don't feel cheated.

{Spoiler}Also does anyone see the irony that Gus prevented the assaination of the man that would eventually kill Gus?
