I don't call wrestlers or others "dad" or "mom" randomly, that's new to me. But I do say "bae" and "YAAAAAS queen" often, most when referring to a badass woman.
You can call me a "cool dad" all you want (I'm 31 so I don't know if I qualify), I don't fricking care. I'm hip with the kiddies.

Anytime I visit Tumblr for any reason other than naked pics, I swear I have no clue what anyone is talking about.

I don't understand a single word of this topic, so here's a picture to express my feelings:

I will never not be a little perturbed when I see a grown adult calling another person "mom" or "queen" I'm a 35 year old man. I still call my mother Mom. I sometimes refer to my wife as "my queen". Why would this be strange? Also, I admittedly don't know what the hell any of this means. Calling someone mom or daddy that's not your parent, or the Yaas thing are all like a foreign language to me.

I have no earthly idea what any of this means, but some folks really do need to calm down about however younger/teenage fans happen to express themselves. Young people are supposed to do silly or misguided things; it's how they learn and grow. And if what they're doing is silly and harmless, who cares?

It's not just a young thing I see men in their 30's talk like this on Twitter. It gets quite ugly when a Yaas Queen Bae AJ fan tries to Slaay a Mom Fearless Bella Army Fan. Then King Punk and Dad Cena get into the equation and you got a Slaay War that can result in account suspensions when the other Stans just in.

This might as well be written in Mandarin for all the sense it makes to me. God bless Twitter and all its crazies.

I miss the days when the internet was just Prodigy chatrooms and Cindy Margolis. Now anytime I'm online I'm inundated with words that I know are English, but I'm tilting my head like a puppy trying to comprehend what the hell any of it means.
This thread has been informative. And scary.

Eh I dont mind people using silly terms/new age slang. Least we're all wrestling fans.
I'm guilty of calling friends of mine bae as a joke though, I think it's just all in fun to be honest. Us wrestling fans can be an odd brew but at least we're out there

Damn why did you draw my attention to this. Just saw someone tweet to Vince, "f*** me dad!"
I would've written it off before but now I know it's a thing.

I like to use the terms YAAS, bish, SLAY, Queen, and sometimes bae, but I never use the terms mom and dad.
I find using those terms a little too much for me personally

Also, do these 30 year old men have diva podcasts and have effeminate voices?
