Smackdown was weak as hell long before Wrestlemania.

Eddie Guerrero was a middling, inconsequential midcarder who never put asses in seats. He is not a legend. No other wrestler that has passed before his time has had his career inflated more than Guerrero. Thank You......

As good as they were in the ring, I never ever felt like Benoit, Eddie and Jericho were ever main eventers in the WWE. I know they were given the top belts but more often than not it's cause it was either a down time or that it was more of a "thank you" for their respective careers or it was transitional. Eddie was popular on Smackdown but again, not unlike Ray Mysterio, the Smackdown audience had become very noticeably hispanic at that point so it was very niche.
The three were good hands and were phenomenal workers but looking back say if WCW would not have died and the three guys had stayed there, I would not have been suprised if their careers would have had a similar path. If anything, considering Benoit got the World title on his last show there, perhaps he and Jericho would have had a bigger career in WCW than what eventually happened in the WWE.

WWE should fire all of their "writers" and hire Jim Cornette to book their shows.

Bruiser Brody was an enormous jerk and very selfish. Most in the business did not like him...though they never wanted to see him die in that fashion they always wanted to see him get his comeuppance in some way. And there are definitely those that believe the incident itself was instigated by him.

This idea that Andre somehow backed down from Bad News Brown is pure BS. I don't care how much judo Brown knows, if Andre really wanted to he could've quite crushed him like a bug. He was probably too drunk to care at that point.

Did not know that part of the story.

Southpaw regional Wrestling is neither funny nor witty.. as it in my opinion pokes fun of the southern wrestling and fans.. It is also childish and it just shows why the WWE does not and never will understand why wrestling was so popular in the south.. they also should make fun of there fanbase and the product they had in the 80s before they poke fun at anyone else

It is also childish and it just shows why the WWE does not and never will understand why wrestling was so popular in the south.. they also should make fun of there fanbase and the product they had in the 80s before they poke fun at anyone else It more or less spawned from the Tex Ferguson/Sex Ferguson character that Luke Gallows created years ago, which is a pretty perfect impression of real journeyman territory guys, which is what the rest of it evolved out of, along with parodying Memphis because Memphis is probably the most colorful source material, while also being one of the final holdouts of the territory system. Most of it, honestly, came across as affectionate, rather than shitting on that era. Sure, there was stuff that was poking fun, like the "YEP." Jumping Jeff Farmer reference, but most of it felt more like someone doing an impression of an uncle at a family reunion. "Oh, that's true, Steve had those cokebottle glasses, bless 'im", rather than like "Look at these dumb assholes".

Jinder had a better match with Shinsuke than Ziggler did I'd like to expand on this. Jinder had a better match with Shinsuke than everyone except Sami Zayn did.

I feel like this is a safe place to say this.
I think Braun Strowman is shit. He's big, he can throw dudes around, but there's no way he can put on a quality one on one, gimmick free match. His promos are real bad. He's basically Goldberg. It's fun to watch him throw guys around, but then you realize he can't do a hell of a lot beyond that.

Goldust's antics when he first debuted were not provocative or mysterious...they were weird, uncomfortable, gross, forced, and not anything many people were interested in seeing. I had no interest in that character

With all respect, I'm calling BS on this. The incident happened in Japan, which has some of the most stringent gun ownership laws in the world. There's any number of reasons that Andre backed down but Brown having a gun is *cue Wallace Shawn* inconceivable.
