It's that time of year again. With the nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globes already announced, the buzz has picked up on what will get nominated for the Academy Awards. And with that, it's time to continue our little tradition of predicting what movies get nominated for the Best Picture award. Just like years prior, 20 films (and a spot for others) have been listed above. And since the maximum that can get nominated is 10, everyone gets to vote up to 10 pictures. Last year, The Martian got the most predictions with 36 out of a possible 50. Carol had the 2nd highest total with 26, but missed the cut. And the eventual winner was Spotlight, which only had 18. Here're IMDB links of all the movies in the poll in case you haven't heard of them before: 20th Century WomenArrivalThe Birth of a NationCaptain FantasticFencesFlorence Foster JenkinsHacksaw RidgeHell or High WaterHidden FiguresJackieLa La LandLionLovingManchester by the SeaMoonlightNocturnal AnimalsPatriots DaySilenceSing StreetSullyMy predictions: Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, La La Land, Loving, Manchester by the Sea, Moonlight, and Sully get the nods with La La Land winning it.

It's just going to be La La Land 10 times, isn't it?

Just bypass the awards and give it to LaLa Land already.

As someone who hasn't had the free time to go see La La Land, so far I'm rooting for Hidden Figures, Hell Or High Water or especially Moonlight for the unlikely upset.

Suicide Squad is nominated for an Oscar. It's for Best Makeup and Hairstyling... not one that anyone really cares about though with how shitty Crock looked I'm still somehow angry about it >_>

I'm also a bit peeved we didn't get an animated film nominated for Best Picture. Because Zootopia was god-tier. It was easily good enough to be mentioned among those other films.

I guess Hollywood is cool again with Mel Gibson.

Wow, 14 nominations for La La Land. That's pretty crazy.
Not that I'm complaining, it really is an amazing film.

La La Land isn't a bad movie, but it is definitely Oscar bait and will absolutely win best picture. Hollywood loves when movies kiss its ass, so it's all but a lock for multiple Oscars.

Really hoping Hell Or High Water can pull out the win for best film editing.
