Can Disney buy things from me? I could use a few millions, or even better... billions.

All this talk about Disney buying Hasbro next and how it could r̶u̶i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶L̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶T̶e̶n̶s̶a̶i̶ ̶g̶i̶m̶m̶i̶c̶k̶ their relationship with Lego. Counter-point: why doesn't Disney buy Lego instead of Hasbro? Don’t think LEGO has any interest in selling, pretty sure they’ve resisted it in the past

I don’t think LEGO actually owns those anymore, I think they’re just licensed out. Pretty sure they got sold off to keep the company from going under in the early 2000’s.

Yeah, Merlin Amusements own them along with most of the other major attraction chains in the world not associated with Disney like Madame Tussaud’s and the like.

The only thing that Disney is not keeping that they have yet to sort out are the regional Fox Sports networks. The only problem is... what do you do with them?
Outside of when the sports teams that are tied to the region play on them, who watches these networks? Outside of YES Network, which was bought by the New York Yankees and Sinclair, pretty much everything else that's yet to be sorted out has little to no value due to the fact that there's virtually no content that these regional networks have, and would be tied to wherever said region operates. This is fine and dandy if the regional outlet has multiple team rights (Minnesota), but then you gotta factor in outlets with only one team right, or a team right to a league nobody in their right mind would dare watch (Indiana, San Diego, New Orleans).

The new background image on TheWaltDisneyCompany.com I Hate Na'vi I was lukewarm on the movie, but the Na'vi Flight of Passage ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom is the shit. There's a dude in a mech suit walking around too.

Well when I say I hate Na'vi, I also mean that I like the space military who blew up their magic tree.

Oh yeah, Hasbro is doing fine and are in no rush to sell. But also not the first I’ve heard of Disney doing a bit of tire kicking there. But I’d 100% expect them to sell before LEGO ever did just due to the differences in the corporate culture. LEGO seems like they’d prefer to be a $2 Billion a year company that does things it’s way then a $5 Billion a year company that’s part of some massive conglomerate.

So, odds that we get a Simpsons go to Disneyworld/Disneyland ep that's really a long commercial for their parks?
