Braun
Dean
Seth
All organically over dudes, all amazing, all honestly game changers for this generation of wrestling, thrown into a void of nothingness to try and once again, since the last over five years haven't worked, get Roman Reigns over, again. Absolute ass. Dean and Seth deserve better than this, Roman is a complete waste of time anymore, and Braun was one of the most over things they had and he's going to be fed to Roman at Hell in a Cell, you already know he isn't winning that match, and will miss out on his big win, again.
And with the rumors of Dean turning to feud with Roman too, they're going to ruin career after career, for an absolute sink of a man, quadrupling down on someone who shouldn't have even been downed on to begin with, no change, no development, no reason to care, and absolutely no sign of anything but a dismal future ahead for all involved.
I hope I'm wrong, I really do, but I've seen this song and dance before, and it ends with nothing changing and everything bad staying the same more often than not...

Roman is already over. He's been over Not really no. His reactions vary, he has fans but it's apparent he isn't a top guy and hasn't been for years. He can be a fine competitor and on the mic, issue is, what they feed him is garbage, his matches are all the same, and he's literally won EVERYTHING, so there is nothing more for him to do, and he's developed absolutely zero off of that. He's not really over, he's a failed project Vince won't admit has failed, and other talents have suffered because of it and will continue to.

I think Strowman will go back to being babyface monster Strowman when this is all over. To their credit they're sort of cultivating the kinds of responses to Reigns that they're looking for, might not really be helpful to those around them but I'm amused by the craftiness of it all.

Yep I made a facebook status about this earlier and I came VERY close to having a mea culpa moment and having to take it back but then the last five minutes of Raw put a quick end to that.

Roman is already over. He's been over Roman's "over" is the modern version of a Conway Pop or X-Pac Heat. The insistence on fitting the square peg into a round hole all so they can make Roman the New Cena (or whatever the logic is here) is doing nothing but alienating a large swath of the fan base

This isn’t some new booking tactic they do, I mean look at how many people turned heel on Hogan back in the day.
It’s only different now because of Reigns being so reviled in the top face role and, let’s be honest here, a greater availability of means for fans to be more vocal about it than there were in, like, 1989.

Where he's booed so hard they mute the crowd reactions and constantly spin the narrative that he's in the right and others are in the wrong? Yeah, he's totally exactly what they were hoping for, not like dozens of other dudes couldn't be naturally over, naturally liked, and win one of the several titles Roman has won And I'm not making shit up, he's the top guy because they overpushed him to be, and it was and still is being rejected by a large number of the audience. Don't tell me I'm seeing things or making shit up, Ive watched his whole career, it's more of the same. Like Cena but worse.

Saying "his reactions vary", "they give him garbage lines", and "wins a lot" are all just projections making stuff up? Come on man, what show are you watching where the crowd is always super behind Roman and on which planet is "Meat Shack" a good line?

Roman is the top guy and that's gonna be the moral of the story, I'm sure, but it's like the last time they feuded. Strowman was the "heel" but the moment they were apart he was a face.

Is this the part where we make up terms because Roman isn't what you think a top guy should be? The highest merch seller in the company is not "X-Pac Heat." Theres a severe level of delusion concerning Roman here.

I mean these methods got Cena some flack too, but I think the biggest issues come in a) the form of the relative desire of the audience to see the face in that role and all their favorites turned heel to be fed to him 2) a general exhaustion with this same pattern after we had this same struggle with Cena for a decade c) the audience being "smarter" to these tricks now in an era where the stories are being looked at more critically as stories.

You go to a town WWE doesn't want to recognize, and the people there will support whatever because it's a rare occurrence in their lives and want to leave a good impression. You go to places with established fanbases who don't accept everything WWE demands they like and react accordingly. The problem is, WWE shuns the places full of "casual" fans who will support the Big Dog because he's the most pushed guy. And that's where the money comes from. But, even they will realize that the guy isn't really the future if those big cities go against the grain.
