So here is a guy, straight from TNA. He even through a burn at TNA's direct on NXT. Now, if he was in the NXT of today, would he be a bigger deal?
Was teaming him with Laycool the end for him before it even began?
Did working with an attitude ruin him? I know he got one IC title match against Dolphy Ziggler and then he was gone just as quick.
Could Kaval have been much much more?

Unless I’m misremembering, he’s bounced between TNA and NJPW somewhat frequently as of late.

Vince could have seen Kaval in the same way he saw Drew McIntyre and Sheamus as potential heirs apparent to the Throne of Cena, and his attitude was still bound to sink him.

If Kaval had come around today, he’d probably have had the same run as Austin Aries. He’d get a solid enough push and frequent wins, but he’d burn out eventually and want out.

Low-Ki has a reputation of taking himself far too seriously and never staying in once place for very long because of it.

Dude is sociopath to the point of scam artist. Remember when he withdrew last minute from a show Mania weekend, only to explain what happened via "Webinar?" And then used the attention to try to con viewers into a motivational speaking webinar? While, yes, he's very talented and, yes, WWE did seem to cut his legs out from under him, there's something fundamentally wrong and unsettling with the way he conducts business and has acted before and since that casts a fog over the whole affair. If anything, him with LayCool seemed to help him find his way and was the most promising he'd been. In hindsight, imagine giving a prominent spot in your company to someone who would make this video: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bhzw50hgEnb EDIT: Found it, watch this sociopath -

If he were in NXT today he would have gotten a Solomon Crowe tier run for being an absolute nightmare to work with.

That what pisses me off about Low-Ki, all of the talent but his head was up his ass. And I say that as a fan.

Think of back in 2014-2015 when we were all “WHEN IS THIS GUY GOING TO GET A F***ING CHANCE?”, and then he finally gets his TV run, it doesn’t click and he gets cut... And then it turns out he’s not of great repute anyway.

He seems like a complete jackass who needs some time with Minoru Suzuki or Brock Lesnar.

I always said that after winning NXT Season 2, his job-out was the biggest middle finger WWE has ever given to the fans. And word was that Vince literally threw a tantrum the night he won. Then it comes out that he's a headcase and a half, and you think Vince may have been right on something.
