It's kinda funny how many VP's became president due to the previous guy dying in office as opposed to outright winning an election first. We didn't even have a constitutional order of succession until 1967!

because he's a former president and historical figure? really shouldn't be that hard to figure out guy. His business for over half his long life and the reason his death is of note here is because of politics/the political position he held. Politics/his politics are a major part of his story. Knock it off. Everyone else is doing just fine keeping things on the proper side of that line in regards to our rules.

George Bush was among my favorite President as a kid mainly because of his Texas connections. I visited his library at A&M when I was 8 with my dad, grandma, and uncle. I ended up seeing him at the 1999 A&M-Texas game with W back when he was governor. My uncle worked not too far from where the Bush’s house is (he is battling stage 4 esophageal cancer, so keep him in your thoughts.)
I loved seeing the relationship he built with President Clinton during their campaign to get relief for Asia after the tsunami and New Orleans after Katrina. Even as he advanced in years, he never wanted to stop doing things he loved like going to Maine, skydiving, and being a wonderful husband to Barbara. My wife and I hope to aspire to have that amount of years of love together.
I read W’s biography of him. It was a great read that gave me a glimpse of George Bush that was not just a President and war hero. I read about a husband and a father. I was touched by their strength to overcome the loss of their Robin. No doubt there is joyful reunion between him, Barbara, and their little girl.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Bush family. Thank you Mr. President.

Watching Sully come out of the chapel ahead of his boss is pretty touching. Can we agree that any quality that is the best in us is carried on by our furry friends after we are gone?

Service dog Sully protecting his boss George H. Bush one last time. A good dog. The best. He will serve well at Walter Reed, but I’d like to think that when the time comes for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, the boss will be waiting with a tennis ball.

Watch this and try not to cry. I dare you. His last conversation with George W is pretty sweet/sad. Really kinda makes you think about the mortality of your loved ones.
