Been a little while since I've had some time to do one of these!
Lotus is the tag team of "The Murderous Monk" Juntai Miller and "GQ" Gavin Quinn. Both Juntai and Quinn, are both long time Michigan Indy guys, having been around for roughly 10 years or so, and their highest profile matches have mostly been in CLASH and AAW, and it just so happens, that this last weekend, Lotus worked at EVOLVE 119. Pretty cool to see that and I hope to see them get invited to the upcoming Crockett Cup. Both guys use plenty of strike based offense, technical wrestling, and are not averse to take to the air. On top of that, they use a sick-as-hell Double Spanish Fly off the turnbuckle for a finisher. Both Juntai and Quinn are pretty damn solid individual wrestlers, but I can't help but think that Juntai is going to standout a little more, as time goes on. The guy has a certain presence to him, that you don't see every day.
This is a match, in CLASH, versus oVe (Jake and Dave Crist), in a hell of a match with some cool spots.
And here is a match versus the Top Guys (Adam Slade & Kevin Giza), that takes place in an interesting independent fed Pro Wrestling Force (PWF). Sidenote: PWF, is based in Springfield, IL, was just launched last year, and is booking EVIL in February. I'm thinking that Michael Elgin might be involved with this indy, since he is also booked, and it's also not far from St. Louis where, his old fed, Glory Pro is based. Take that for what you will. Anyways, the Top Guys are a pretty solid team too.
And for those interested in past "Indy Guy to Watch" threads:
"The Neon Ninja" Facade
"Jungle Boy" Nate Coy (Just signed by AEW!)
"The Ace of Spades" Ace Austin
"Hot Fire" Myron Reed
"The Young Lion" Tyler Matrix
Jake Something
