I still think Ambrose played this one wrong. WWE has all the ability to job him and bury him for the next couple of months. He should have just kept kinda negotiating with no serious intent of signing, then they might job him once at WM or something but otherwise wouldn't crap all over him. I think casual fans are going to be pretty much non existing in (for example) AEW in the beginning, so this isnt really an issue anymore. Jobbing him now makes them look petty now and even more evil. I think he played it exactly right, he can still renew AND negotiate at the same time.

I don't think Ambrose being jobbed out or being off TV will affect his standing at all. If he's done with wrestling, it flat out doesn't matter to him. But if he's planning to go to the indies or AEW, then the initial fanbase will be the smarkiest of smarks, and they won't care that he lost some pointless matches on the way out. They'll be even more into a guy who the WWE messed around with, and 'punished for wanting to leave'.

15th February. Fun fact, that same weekend, PAC’ll make his OTT debut in Dublin against the present world champion there, WALTER. Ahh f*** me, we have a station event that day otherwise I'd make both of those shows. Good gravy that's an insane weekend! You should fly to the UK just to watch some indie shows, man. Shit, come to WrestleQueendom. The scene over here lately is insane. I was at an indie show at a local theatre in bumf*** nowhere last Sunday and it drew like 500 screaming marks to it. No wonder he is leaving,he can't even beat some rookie with an injured arm. He is becoming the new Curt Hawkins but probably demands a much higher salary then him from Management. Uh. I'm pretty sure he lost to a one-armed rookie because he is leaving. Not vice versa. I still think Ambrose played this one wrong. WWE has all the ability to job him and bury him for the next couple of months. He should have just kept kinda negotiating with no serious intent of signing, then they might job him once at WM or something but otherwise wouldn't crap all over him. This kind of shit does not matter any more in the modern age. This isn't him leaving Memphis to go to Florida where he can't tell marks he's undefeated any more. Dean could have six months left on his contract, job to Hornswoggle every week throughout, and still explode the first non-WWE venue he showed up in.

That probably depends on what you're into and whether you want to include Ireland and Scotland while you're there...
