If true I think this & all the recent backstage hirings is Triple H starting to get his people in position for his eventual take over of day to day operations. Nah, HHH would keep Arn around just because he’s an NWA guy and tight with the Nature Boy.

Did they give his spot to someone else?

Some rando on Twitter said Arn's been employed by a major American promoter consistently since 1985. Damn.
With the new producers/road agents coming in lately (Helms, JJ, Abyss, did I read Sonjay Dutt was one as well?) I guess it makes some sense to start cutting the older guys.
Don't some long timers just sign/revert to a Legends deal when they cut anyway?

Did they give his spot to someone else? Not his dog spot.

Reminder: Flair and Arn have apparently been on the outs for years. Supposedly Arn just got tired of all Ric's partying lifestyle shit and they barely spoke anymore.
I would like to think they've patched things up since Flair's life changing health scare, but who knows...

Ric and Arn haven't spoken for years iirc. Also we now live in a world where Arn Anderson leaving a backstage role in the WWE gets covered by the Daily Mirror.

Didn’t Arn take a sabbatical from the company several years ago to deal with issues with alcohol abuse? When the nWo’s parody of Arn’s retirement speech, Arn was offended by Nash using Arn’s alcoholism as fodder for humor.

My guess is that Arn got overpaid due to his status/experience level and they want to replace him with someone cheaper.

Literally just came in to say, "And yet Michael Hayes still gets to roam backstage free as a bird."
