During the Revival's match tonight Dawson did the Anderson "Pump Fake DDT" (Fake a punch, they duck, you DDT) and part of me wondered if that was a message/tribute/homage to Arn.
I know. Super overthinking it.

Super overthinking it. Dawson's used that spot a number of times in the past, but tonight's probably was a nod to AA.

jeesh. Maybe that will blow over. Goldust and Finlay were both fired for taking the heat for incidents but were brought back.

I don't remember the Goldust situation, but Finlay was used as a fall guy for an intentional segment that backfired. If this story is true Arn's bad decision was much more of a direct 'You f***ed up and it's dangerous" thing, I'm not so sure we see a silent rehiring when the dust settles.

If that's the reason they should never hire him back. That's just absurd.

Yep. If Arn really made that decision then he is right to have been fired.

I'm not usually someone who calls for somebody to lose their job, but as shown with the incident at the house show tonight, potentially serious accidents can happen in the ring when both wrestlers are functioning properly. For Arn to let somebody perform whilst not in a fit state is stupid, dangerous and irresponsible.
It'll be hard to rehire somebody who has put the wrestlers at risk like that.

Hey, he’ll be the perfect agent to work with Jericho in AEW then.

Throwing this outthere, maybe if Arn was in charge of the whole thing, he did not realise she was intoxicated and thought it was Alicia being Alicia. Of course you still have to fire him for the screw up but maybe he did not know.
