Vince: "Hey Arn, I was with my grandkids the other day and we were futzing around on the Network and came across a match you and Tully had against The Bushwhackers all the way back in 1989 where you screwed up one of their signature spots."
Arn: "Well Vince, that was 30 years ago, what can we do about that now?"
Vince: "'What can we do' indeed."

Yeah, the agents are carrying the can for the falling ratings, and being used as a'evidence' that the changes fans want are happening. New blood and new ideas certainly can't hurt, but it won't make much difference as long as the same people are making decisions from the top. Joking aside about Arn's agelessness, I was genuinely surprised to find out he's only 60. He's a year younger than Bret Hart, just seven years old than Taker. I thought he must be pushing 70, given his links to Flair and pre-Ted Turner WCW. I never realised he retired from wrestling at such a relatively young age. It's because he always looked old, he must have looked 40 when he was like 25. If you go watch episodes of Mid South from 1982 where he worked as a job guy you'll see the answer is yes. Yes he did.

Like someone else said, hopefully Arn just decided "Screw this, I'm tired" and just walked away. Conrad Thompson has stated that Arn was the agent for virtually all of Cena's matches (especially his "Big Match John" outings), so I doubt he's without some stroke in the company.
Even if he was let go, I hate that for him, but I've never heard of AA being frivolous with his money the way Flair is/was. If Arn wants to keep working, he'll find a job probably before I'm finished hitting "submit" on this post. His career and his resume speak for themselves. In the off chance AEW turns into a big thing, I bet AA will be on the short list of producers they scout.
The only thing I'm worried about would be if Arn Anderson is leaving because of health reasons or something equally tragic.

I did. And can confirm that Arn didn't Age from '82-89, started aging again from '95-'97, then as recently as 2017 started to age again so he finally looks 49.

Could you change the title to released? I can't be the only one who thought gone was dead.

I feel like we could club together and just employ Arn to hang around with us (shared custody arrangement, like a syndicate where you buy in), just being Arn. Spinebustering people at our whim.

My guess is that Arn got overpaid due to his status/experience level and they want to replace him with someone cheaper. They will hire his non-union Mexican equivalent: Ole' Anderson.

Can’t wait for the Observer analysis.
“Vince McMahon was said to be possibly unhappy with Arn’s work for some time and Arn May have been unhappy with the current management structure. The release is said to be mutual, but there is likely more to the story”.
“Arn and Cody Rhodes have a good relationship so he may end up with AEW at some point, but their interaction is unclear at this time”

Would be cool to see him end up in AEW not only for the Dusty connection but I wouldn't mind hearing a Arn promo from time to time.

He was a legend but WWE just hired a bunch of new Producers to take his spot, (& not a spot like a Dog Spot, but Arn’s Spot), so might as well as use new eyes on the product instead of old ones. Hopefully, Arn can live a nice life in retirement, but we will see him in Legend segments, like Monday’s Ric Flair’s Birthday.

Nice that they did this two days before the Ric Flair birthday celebration show. Does anyone know if he and Flair patched things up? I know Arn was on the outs with him for a while. Also, friendly reminder that Arn Anderson is the greatest of all-time and that's just all there is to it.
