I don't understand a few things, how does WWE not already have this? If she digitized these all for Bret, why did she need a VCR to watch it? Shouldn't she have already had one to do the digitizing, or wouldn't she have had this on a DVD-R already? If she digitized before then shouldn't she have seen it already? I recognize that brand/packaging of VHS tape and it's from the late 90s/early 2000s so it had to have been copied from another master somewhere. Someone else said WWE got the tape from Turner... wasn't this a WWF house show or TV taping? Why would Turner have that? WWE got the tape of the 1983 "Last Battle of Atlanta," a Georgia Championship Wrestling show that was thought to be lost forever, in their 2001 purchase of WCW from Turner. As for the match being discussed here, Bret Hart himself had a VHS tape of it that ended up in this woman's possession.

Apparently Tyson Kidd is going to get his hands on that tape. Which is super fitting honestly.

Wait is the Stutsy tagged in the tweet the infamous one from CWF Mid Atlantic? The same. @statmark is Grant Sawyer, their old production guy who left at the same time.

I see Conrad trying to get this for Starrcast hopefully with what he says about Bret she doesn’t listen to any of Conrad’s shows.

He was pretty cool with the acrobatic moves (another site had an Arn Anderson match and a Terry Gibbs match) but my god he had no wrestling ability otherwise. He had no ring clue when it came to being with one other person in the ring. The two matches I did see I wound up fast forwarding a majority of them.

It's definitely the one from 1986 by the looks of Bret's ring gear, as for Magee he was decent for his size but nothing earthshattering, it's more of Bret making the dude look like a billion bucks.

I literally have no memory of this guy. I googled him and holy shit, Vince must have orgasmed when he first saw him.

Honestly, some of Bret's matches with guys way below his level were better than the ones with people closer to his talents, so I could believe that, at least by '86 standards. I feel like Bret enjoyed the challenge of elevating someone to a degree, even if he otherwise doesn't seem to have good feelings about the Magee stuff nowadays.

Nobody sold an Irish whip to the turnbuckle 4/10ths as well as Bret. That could have been a believable finish to that match.

He got near five star matches out of Kevin Nash, he definitely is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time for a reason.

Looking at this guy, you can see why Vince so bad wanted Kerry Von Erich back in the day. KVH had a ton more actual talent, but there is a similar look and acrobatic style to Magee.

She said she has no intention of uploading the entire match to a platform like Youtube for legal reasons. She claims two WWE officials told her that WWE does not have a copy of the match. Perhaps her letting the world know she has it will lead to her making it available to WWE.

Plus, if they keep outtakes and dark matches with no commentary and a time counter on screen, why would they get rid of a match that was intended to air (as evidenced by Monsoon/Heenan calling it).
