Am I the only one who thinks Cena could beat the Fiend for title 17?

i'm happy with reigns and santa because it'll be one of the worst matches of all time Not if booked like Lesnar/Goldberg at Mania (the more recent version).

So, I'm just looking forward to the Fiend being treated as a joke and Bray Wyatt regressing back to being his own Huskus, complete with a dancing fat man gimmick.

Just realized there’s no word on what Daniel Bryan is doing. Is this the year we get Vince’s Sheamus/Bryan fetish out the way?

Am I the only one who thinks Cena could beat the Fiend for title 17? Yeah, probably. Cena has a ton of projects in the pipeline, he doesn't need this bullshit, or to be another no-show champ. Unless he's a heel, and becomes everything he said Rock was.

Yeah, I'd be pretty happy with that match for three reasons: 1) Sheamus and Bryan have always had amazing chemistry 2) Sheamus and Braun beating the shit out of each other will be fun 3) Like I said, Bryan and Braun haven't faced each other yet

If the Fiend is going to lose to an aging part-timer, I'd much rather have it be Taker, or even Sting.
It's unlikely since he's on Raw and not booked in the Elimination Chamber, but to me, the best guy to take the belt off him is Aleister Black.

See if Cena was going to win #17 I'd just do that with Lesnar and not The Fiend. Cena could beat Lesnar, end that national nightmare, and quickly transition to heel Rollins or whoever. What would even be the point of him winning the title on SD? I think what we could see is Cena announcing he wants in the Elimination Chamber, but The Fiend costs him the match. This would be after Wyatt loses to Goldberg.
If they really wanted to do some sort of Dream Match though they could go with Cena vs. Goldberg.

Remember when WWE made fun of WCW for latching on to old acts and not building any new stars?
Stuff like this reminds me of how funny Irony is.

I want Goldberg to win. I don't even like him but Goldberg vs. Reigns sounds like the vastly superior match, Cena sounds like the better fit for Bray's character, and the Fiend is just such a chore at this point that I'd rather see him torn down a bit anyway, especially if they're going to keep the godawful red light around.

Bray vs Roman makes no sense
How can you book Wyatt as an unstoppable monster and believe RR can credibly beat him when he couldn't even make Baron Corbin eat dog(he just merely smeared dog food on him).

Say what you want about Goldberg but yesterday I went to my son's baseball tryout (7-8 year olds) and some of these kids were talking about WWE. One said "Oh yeah? WWE sucks!" But they all agreed on the awesomeness of Bill Goldberg. Thanks for that info. It's amazing how much presence Goldberg has. Great to hear he managed to make a bunch of fans out of kids of this generation given that he's been around so little in the last decade.

So The Fiend is gonna lose to a 50yr old Goldberg and then more than likely get jobbed out to Cena. Well took Bray alot quicker to fall back into his usual booking trope of look menacing in the build and get jobbed out like a geek in the matches. To be fair, Meltzer appears to be reporting Wyatt vs. Cena as the plan but he is just speculating as to the Goldberg winning the title and facing Roman parts of the story. If that's the case then yeah, this is easy to book. Fiend beats Goldberg. John Cena declares The Fiend is evil and doesn't deserve the belt, so he's gonna fight him for all the kids. Meanwhile Roman is ribbing Goldberg over losing to Husky Harris, and they haven exhibition match.
