The Jericho Cruise is set for February 1-5, 2021 and I believe you can either book already or sign up for the presale.

Yeah, the Jericho Cruise isn't until January or February 2021. That said, even if the vaccine was widely available by that point, I wouldn't want to be on a cruise anytime soon. And considering they're expecting a second wave (we're still in the first wave) in October, I don't think it's a great idea to be scheduling a cruise any time soon.

I went on the last one and would highly recommend it in regular times. I also caught a really bad bug that wiped me out the next week. Don’t do that until there’s a vaccine, please.

That whole mask thing is completely unconscionable. Like, we're literally at cartoonish levels of denial. I'd expect this to be some plot from a Captain Planet villain.

Is this the reason Fantasmo unmasked on NXT?

I'd like to note the irony that all of this came like a day after the report came out that WWE was considering possibly having more fans or more shows outside of Florida around August
Yeah, if your Boss can't even follow the correct guidelines and keep his workers informed about shit until he's FORCED to, then I don't think that's happening any time soon...

I'm trying to parse the part from WWE's statement where they said that friends and family of people at the PC were allowed at Raw, but were kept separate from the in-ring talent. I mean, first off the Street Profit entrance instantly shoots that down, but I'm trying to figure how that kind of separation could be done, anyway, if there wasn't a plan in place for quarantining people together for awhile beforehand. Just seems like wishful thinking to bring in outside people who might have been exposed in the course of their daily lives and not expect anything to potentially happen.
There's a big thing to consider with the comparisons between how WWE and AEW are handling this, and I think a big one is the nature of the buildings they're running in. The PC is an enclosed building, while Daily's Place is open-air; this makes a big difference in the potential transmission of the virus, as recirculated air in confined, indoor spaces is a major factor in making it spread more. Daily's is also flat out larger; they apparently allowed the Florida National Guard to see Dynamite this past week or whatever, but the size of the venue allowed those who aren't AEW locker room regulars to sit far apart from the wrestlers. The PC, meanwhile, is not quite as large on the inside with its seating, thus putting more people close to one another. That becomes a big factor when the producers want the people sitting in the crowd to get loud; the six foot social distance rule of thumb doesn't really work if you're in an environment, again particularly an enclosed one, where people will be shouting, singing, or otherwise projecting their voices, as it makes particulates from the mouth fly farther. At that point you should be looking to try 12-18 foot distancing.
Some of these risks are mitigated, as mentioned before, if you have a decent number of people staying in one place during this, if you do regular testing, etc. There's no perfect answer whatsoever, but it's fair to point out strategies that are more effective than others.

I think if you're a cruise company and you're already resigned to not running anything until next spring, you might as well cut your losses and shut down now. You can't fault them for planning. For me, if a government is allowing businesses to open, there shouldn't be any criticism of them for doing so. There won't be any medals handed out for businesses that take it upon themselves to stay closed and drive themselves into bankruptcy. However, the WWE being open at this point is not as big a deal as the fact that they are doing less than the bare minimum in terms of precautions. They'd seemingly rather live in ignorance and hope for the best.

They have already canceled the Burton's Snowboard Championships here in Colorado which was scheduled for the first week of March in 2021 so I wouldn't be surprised if this cruise was eventually canceled.

Oh boy, oh f***ing boy.
At Orlando International Airport, 500 employees were tested for COVID, 260 of them came back positive. This isn't good for anybody, much less for WWE.

PW Inside says this is their taping schedule for today: As it stands, they've cut next week's SmackDown from that, as the results weren't coming in in time and was delaying the start of the whole day of tapings. You ever wonder how come so many karmic analogies have to do with animals? "Chickens coming home to roost", "Lie with dogs, you get fleas", that kind of thing?

PW Inside says this is their taping schedule for today: I seriously don't know how there hasn't been a huge uprising backstage between talent and management at this point. They potentially exposed them to COVID because they had no regulations about it because of their insane boss, DIDN'T TELL THEM ABOUT IT UP FRONT, and now they're just like "Ok now do a whole bunch of tapings chop chop!" How are there not several WWE Wrestlers not going up and flat out asking for their release at this point? It really does feel like a damn cult.
