I fully agree that it would serve Vince right if the talent & crew walked out. But, based on some of the social media we’re seeing from the talent, & just knowing how a lot of people are, I get the idea that many of the talent themselves are of the mindset that the virus is not that big a deal—either thinking it’s being overblown by the media/government officials, or that they’re young & healthy and can quickly recover if they get sick, or whatever. Heck, I know plenty of people in my regular social circles like that—few of whom are pro athletes on any level. I hope this serves as a wake-up call to those who’ve been lax about the whole thing, be they talent, crew, or front office. But sadly, I’m not convinced it will. Statistically their chances of dying are extremely low, but you'd think professional athletes would be mindful of the long term effects of lung damage.

And by this time next week, people/fans will have moved onto another controversy to focus on. That's the thing about WWE or most wrestling companies in general. Unless the scandal is MASSIVE (like a wrestler killing someone or another heinous crime), the big news outlets won't care. Hell, most wrestling fans outside of the IWC likely either don't care about someone testing positive, or won't care within the next couple of weeks. At the end of the day, unless something major happens that would make major news networks, most of the US aren't going to care because pro wrestling has a stigma of being carny/trashy. And considering the news is busy focusing on the MLB and NFL situations right now, this will likely fall under the radar. And the MLB/Coronavirus situation is a lot worse than what WWE is doing right now. Both are horrible, but MLB is a whole new level of awful.

Plus when you have someone like Ric Flair there who is extremely vulnerable (old + heart issues), you need to treat this as a gigantic deal.

I get your point, but the world could be destroyed by an asteroid and Ric Flair would still be "WOOO!"-ing through the wasteland, distilling alcohol from something, and hitting on mutants.

Every single person there should just head home now. Going back to work for these neglectful assholes in light of all of this news coming out would just be unbelievably dumb. Agreed.

Wait.... i haven't watched Raw last night. Was it live? Flair was there?? That seems dangerous.

Wait.... i haven't watched Raw last night. Was it live? Flair was there?? That seems dangerous. Last night's RAW was pre-recorded, and the talent in question who had tested positive was last on site on June 9th. So unless someone is asymptomatic, then Flair is probably fine, as last night's RAW and next week's RAW were taped yesterday.

They need to get rid of the crowd again.
A bit of noise is not necessary if it risks spreading the virus.

At this point they should just show reruns of old episodes of Raw and SmackDown, and wait till 2021 to start airing new shows again.

And that's the end of wrestling until this is over. Seriously, how do you resume a normal schedule after that, especially since, iirc, they aren't testing regularly? And as mentioned, you have the domino effect involving cross-company couples. I always thought it was risky anyway, but now that you've had a wrestler as the second employee to test positive, how can anyone justify continuing with business as usual? Just shut it down.
And before people mention the TV deals, if Fox and USA can't accept old content in the name of not getting people sick, then f*** them. No contract is more important than human lives.

This isn't big news compared to, well, I'll just gesture at the entire United States. And in the sports world, baseball may not come back and some of their players have tested positive. Quite a few Cowboys and Texans have tested positive, leading to questions one when the NFL will be able to start up. Shit's hitting the fan in college football, but we can't talk about that here. And multiple players from big football programs have tested positive. Meanwhile the NBA's just watching all this and thinking, "What the f***? We got a plan to restart the season that's endorsed by Anthony Fauci." Guess that's what happens when the guy overseeing it all is really really really f***ing good at his job.

I would guess the plan is to isolate anybody that tests positive (they should know by tonight or tomorrow) and then utilize the talent that are virus-free. No different than what the major sports leagues plan to do really.
