Besides attacking/denigrating fellow posters I wish there were more salty posts like this. It's fun and good The live threads are ideal for this shit mang, it's why I join them whenever I can

Between the thread title and the op, I'm now tired of cringeworthy things as well.

Everything about him reminds me of '93 WCW

Probably because most people who watch AEW on this forum actually like the product versus the exercise in masochism the WWE live threads turn into.

Smackdown's a normally lighter thread yes Though now with the likes of THE FREAK there every week there's probably gonna be a few down moments...

On the original topic, I will say that the weird choir bit at the start of Cody's theme still jars me a bit. You've already got a good soundbite hook for the start of your theme, don't throw something in front of that or it just gets convoluted. Jim Steinman can pull off long songs with a three act structure, but this is a wrestling entrance.

Then you get into Cody’s music and out comes his own little nightmare family mini nWo entourage. It’s uncalled for on a weekly basis

I can't name anyone who's had this exciting midcard belt run in a while. Closest memory I can think of is Pure Champion McGuinness. To be honest, it’s been “exciting” to some because of the booming. People love the idea of someone random showing up to challenge Cody. It’s why everyone loves Cenas US Title open challenges. Not only has he got to take on some of the indys top talents, but he’s gotten to wrestle some of the more popular and newer guys in AEW. I feel like you could put anyone in that spot and with that original booking, people would enjoy it. I don’t need Cody’s weekly “passion” promo to get me Interested. I think once the title settles in and becomes something that doesn’t have all these special wrestlers and special matches attached to it, it’ll die down
