If Maki wasn't only there for a short stint, an opportunity for a stable would have been Britt, Nyla, and Maki, with Rebel and Vickie as manager roles. I noticed this when they looked so much like a stable at Revolution. Especially this image. This would have been a good shot in the arm for the women's division.

How do you respond to the argument that there are too many groups or factions in AEW right now? Nick: New Japan Pro Wrestling has been booking factions for more than 40 years, and they’re still around. I see the argument, but I think North American fans have never seen this many at one time. They are used to one, two, or three stables in a company. It’s easier to book angles. It’s easy to get more people involved with different groups. If you’re not aligned in a stable, you’re alone, and that’s hard to book sometimes. That’s why we have a lot of factions. It has clearly worked. www.tvinsider.com/994888/the-young-bucks-aew-matt-nick-jackson-dynamite/amp/

Like Angels and Vance without Dark Order I dont know if they ever get to where they are, same with Silver and Reynolds. Private Party has been really good with Matt Hardy as heels, Hobbs as a heel in Team Taz looks like a monster, Comoroto looks like a beast in The Factory because that's how he's being built, even lower end factions like Pretty Picture have lead to Bononi, Nemeth, and Drake getting more looks, in Drake's case he became the talk of the town last week. It's something to get used to, it's understandable if fans aren't used to this sort of thing... but I have seen the benefit for several wrestlers already, it's paying dividends.

I like stables. Really going old school when you had managers with their stable. Only thing is they dont always need to be together. IE When a Taz guy is wrestling you dont have to have everybody else out there.

I love stables in wrestling, it gives you genuine alliances and can help struggling singles guys by creating
WWE has typically done stables so badly, for them it's almost always built around one guy, who's surrounded by some scrubs who are really only there to support that one guy. So it's nice to see a US based company at least honestly trying to develop some, and seeing lower card guys actually get some shine out of being associated with the group.

AEW should make the first Stables, Ladders & Chairs match where one guy on each side has to go to the back, assemble a team from everyone available, and then they have a ladder match. It's the ultimate test of both your hardcore skills and how personable you are.
