Wilkins had a long run wrestling for Michinoku Pro and PWFG after that, and also did WWF TV jobs. Didn't kill his career at all. Ah, interesting, I did not know about that.

This thread is an interesting study in how there is rarely one moment you can point to as "this is where they never worked again", since if you're even remotely decent, someone will book you, or if you know the right people. Still, people obviously can ruin opportunities or squander momentum by being stubborn or hasty jackasses. This part is definitely interesting, and speaks to how wrestling has always been a business of outsiders, and always willing to give people a new chance. People can mess up, but unless it's something truly horrific, most people will get another chance to go. MLW has made a project of tyring to help a lot of otherwise untouchable people, and generational talent problem children like Aries and Low Ki have been through almost every door in the industry. Some people smarten up and make redemption stories of it--we're seeing this now with Eddie Kingston after years of blowing it and causing problems--while some people manage to push away virtually everybody and be left helpless.

Slap one of your employees because they screwed up their job.
Send an email to one of your coworkers talking about how you want to murder another coworker.
Make a racist joke that wouldn't have even been funny 30 years ago on commentary, and refuse to apologize
Bonus points if you then proceed to do shoots or podcasts bitching about how all these incidents were somebody else's fault.

Look at JBL the wrong way, right Palmer Cannon and Billy Silverman. In Silverman's case he dared to upgrade to 1st class out of his own pocket. Because, only main eventers fly 1st class. That whole era of "wrestler's court" WWE was just like if nobody had ever left the frat house. Physically, at least. Mentally, those dudes are forever stuck in the frat house.

Or was that Billy Kidman?

Trying to murder the single most powerful promoter on the planet within earshot of numerous other people. What is that one based on? I'm guessing McMahon was the promoter but don't know the story.

Kevin Walchoz, aka Nailz, had a o meeting with Vince over money. Things turned ugly and Walchoz ended up trying to strangle Vince. He’d later claim Vince provoked him, but this was refuted by Bret Hart and Pat Paterson, who were outside Vince’s office and overheard it all going down..

Pastor William Eaver, who decided to fallaway slam OJMO into the crowd at Progress 102, got suspended for being a reckless idiot, and then just disappeared after being really defensive about it on Twitter for a while. Never heard about this (don't know much about UK wrestling), is there video?

It didn't completely destroy his career but Koji Kitao shooting on John Tenta and then announcing to the audience that wrestling was fake definitely derailed how far he could go and he never truly recovered from it.

Showing up fat at your new place of employment
Braden Walker/Chris Harris had some star potential with his look in TNA. People make fun of the knock knock jokes thing in WWE but it was meant for him to knock people out. I think homie had some attitude issues in TNA which did not do him any favors but once he got to WWE and had to get off the roids, that look basically killed his career. He came back to TNA for a few matches I remember but his career never took off again
Wasn't there supposed to be an excuse for why he go so heavy and someone like Lance Storm said was he allergic to situps?

Yeah, it's actually on the on demand video for that event (I think it was Progress Chapter 102, anyway) He half heartedly tells the crowd to move once, then when they don't, he just throws OJMO into them anyway.

Braden blamed the wellness program for being out of shape, and Lance said, "Were situps on the list of banned substances?!" Lance has been open about some wrestlers he had points of contention with, but Braden/Harris might be the person he went in on hardest, which kind of makes sense given Lance also was working with the developmental guys who were all hoping for air time and their own break, and here this guy strolls in giving no shits and blows it. It's especially bad since it isn't like this was "ECW about to get cancelled" era, either, there was still at least some shits given by WWE at this stage, so it was still something of an opportunity.

It makes sense to be pissed off especially since at that time ECW was a bit of a first step launching pad for guys essentially being NXT before it became NXT He is one of the rare cases of a guy coming in out of shape into the WWE. Like you would think there is no way the gas can transform your body like that but his body is fully thanks to being on the shit and without it, he couldn't get back right Guys usually feel the pressure to come into WWE bigger and even Punk put on a little weight before he came until I believe Heyman told him you shouldn't do that. But never this out of shape to the point you look like a whole new man

Like all of sudden he just didn't and doesn't care. Like the passion about wrestling quickly was gone but still showed up if someone was willing to pay for him. Which is a shame because he was talented and did so well with AMW tag team. Sure the team was outshined by Storms next partner with Beer Money. But AMW was a great team.

AMW was a really good team and while Beer Money ended up being better, I think TNA undervalued Storm for a long time before he finally broke out and they realized how much the fans could get behind him Harris was clearly the guy they wanted to push. He had the look but just needed the character and that brutal match him and Storm had should been a wake up call. I think after that is when he did something stupid and I want to say the Black Reign feud came after that but yeah homie got lazy TNA probably would took him back as they did bring him back for a one off when I think he tagged with Matt against Storm and that was about it. He was still fat and out of shape

No, it was the 1st class upgrade out of his pocket. The story you told is the 1st I'm hearing about it.
