Everything he said is a correct, honest, and fair evaluation of the current situation.

Obviously he's not saying anything new here, but I'm just glad to see Foley looking good these days.

I mean…yeah. Like I said earlier, it’s been a glaring problem for years but it’s at the forefront now because of more negative examples than positive ones.
And even their homegrown talent aren’t safe. They kicked the can so long on Braun’s push, nothing was going to elevate him and the fact he’s fired is a testament that they messed up. And now Impact possibly have someone and are probably going to do him right like they did Sawyer Fulton and Big Cass. That shouldn’t be the case.
We’ve sort of reached a point where they need to change something, anything. Reshape creative would be a great start and figuring out what kind of talent you want to bring in is another. And make sure developmental is suitable to make them how you want. And even then, you need to make sure you’re not going to chop and change every 5 seconds and drop people’s investment in them. Right now, nothing I’ve seen the past few months alone makes me think they’re capable of that.

Oh my god. Why did he do that again? Daniel Bryan lost a match or something?

Right now, nothing I’ve seen the past few months alone makes me think they’re capable of that. I honestly wish it was as easy as just reshape creative I really do but I think that ship has long since left port and sunk deep into the ocean. Vince has got to go because nothing will change with him still in power it just wont but when he does only then can the other preverbial dominos go. Once Vince goes then they can rid of Dunne , Funk man , Pritchard , Khan all the f***ing cancers that plague this company. But also it all depends on who suceeds Vince if anyone because he is just as likely to sell it and honestly off the top of my head I do not even believe Vince has a succession plan and that is f***ing terrifying for everyone in that company.

He's not wrong. At this point in time, if I were an aspiring young talent, my goal would be to get to AEW, not WWE. And that alone is just astonishing to me. When I was a kid and I'd dream about getting into the wrestling business, Vince's company was a no-brainer. It was, at one point in time, THE show. But it's just not like that anymore. They've betrayed people's trust, whether it's the fans or their workers, one too many times.

okay Mick, that's f***ing stupid you're supposed to follow through with the swing, not stop as soon as you make contact. you're never going to knock a tv out of the park swinging like that.

Here's my problem when it comes to Foley and this stuff: One call and he'd be on SD! or Raw in a heartbeat to blather on about HIAC or whatever.
That does NOT mean he's wrong. He isn't. He's 100% right here. I just have a hard time getting past that

You can thank me for that because I tweeted him asking if he was going to smash the TV like he said and he replied saying he was going to have use a bat rather than a brick like he originally said because it was safer 😂

He's right. Indie talent are going to remember WWE hiring a good chunk of the EVOLVE roster and then releasing them a few months later after they all relocated their lives for NXT.

You have to respect a man who keeps his word. I have trouble respecting a man whose idea of "smash my TV" is to take a bat to the 22" Insignia he got for 150 on Black Friday and stuck in his spare bedroom. It's Mick Foley, that'll be the most money he's spent on anything in his life.

I know, but it takes a lot out of your statement when you cheap out on your outrage and clearly leave the actual worthwhile screens undisturbed. Dude broke his son's spare computer monitor.

I think it would have been far more fair and indicative of Foley's sense of integrity if he'd gone a different route with that promise. Obviously, he should have broken one of Al Snow's televisions.
