He's such a good dude. Hope he gets to follow his dreams wherever he goes from here.

Cedric was the first to respond basically tweeting that he respects him.
Which I took as him saying "TAKE ME WITH YOU, MAN! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL FEBRUARY!"

Can’t blame him if he wants out, but imo, there wasn’t much star potential in him. If he avoided injury, I can’t imagine Ali-Mania having the same impact with the fans as Kofi-Mania did in 2019.

Shame but he needs to do what’s best for him & his family. Will miss seeing him in wwe. He has tons of potential in the ring & I always thought he would have made an awesome ambassador for them.

Good
Dude has a star look and has transformed himself over the years and is waiting for that opportunity. Go to somewhere like Impact and make your mark

Good luck to Ali, whether it's Hollywood or continuing to wrestle elsewhere in addition to the potential movie role.

I'm hoping he formally requested his release in person, over the phone or via email before going on social media to do it
that almost never works and can make things worse (see Brian Cage and his wife)

I don't blame him at all. The man can move and has plenty of destinations where he can be used more effectively and draw more attention and money.
WWE can't afford to warehouse _anyone_ anymore. If Creative has nothing for him, they're morons who need to be eliminated before they cut this guy.

Ali was a complete swing and miss from WWE.
Dude is talented and almost made Retribution work.

I figured this would happen after they had him do that "oh so you hate me because you're a racist" promo. Like Muhammed Hassan 2.0? That's the vibe I got.

Ali is a very good wrestler and, by all accounts, an even better human being. Him wanting out of a toxic cesspool is not shocking in the least.

I hope they release him. He's one of those guys who thinks he is way better than he is and he is always outraged at something.

I hope they release him. He's one of those guys who thinks he is way better than he is and he is always outraged at something. I mean, besides stuff involving him not wanting to be a heel and push stereotypes (which, I mean, that's completely fair considering), I haven't seen Ali "always outraged" about much else? Unless I'm really missing some stuff and I'm happy to see it, I guess.

The wrestling world needs more people of his background. Especially as faces. I am begging him to go to any other promotion, so I hope they release him.
Put his promos on TV somewhere and watch him get over.

Cannot blame him. The guy is so talented and they have squandered so many chances to do more with him
Not even that he automatically needs to be a main eventer, but he could easily be an upper midcard guy at least.
