Sometimes I think people forget how good Cesaro actually is. Oh he’s great in the ring, don’t get me wrong Nah, Cesaro ain't just a reliable hand, he can do things no one else can do. He has strength and athleticism no one else can do, and size wise he'd be an immediate standout in AEW There are so many former CHIKARA and ROH talents in that company, I don't see any way that Claudio avoids being brought in. He's also not just a great wrestler, he's a proven trainer. He literally trained my cousin to wrestle, who was Tursas in the BDK, among many others as well. He's someone you want on your team.

Again he also has amazing comedic timing, and physical charisma... even if the "he's not good on the mic" were true (and literally look at any of his non-WWE scripted promos and you'll see it's not) dude more makes up for it in like literally every other way. and the Crowd were white hot for him on multiple occasions and the WWE decided to cut him off immediately.

This is surprising, if only because I remember about a year ago him signing a new contract, but I guess he only signed a one-year extension. That was smart on his part, and surprising on the WWE's as they seem adamant about locking talent down for multiple years.
Even though AEW's roster is starting to become bloated, and there's a lot of potential he'll get lost in the shuffle there... I really hope in this final act of his career, that them or someone really utilizes him to his full potential.

This is probably the biggest thing. AEW Crowds are gonna want Claudio, they are gonna wanna cheer for him or want him around, and AEW WON'T f*** with it, they'll very much welcome it.

Wow. What a shocker. I don't blame him for leaving. He is one of the best wrestlers on the roster & was being jobbed out in Tag matches. He had the worst record on the roster for 2022 at 0-6-0. Whatever company he goes to will treat him a million times better.

I've already seen accounts push for Cesaro section signs on AEW this coming week. Wouldn't surprise me to see quite a few there.

Which would be weird because he’d probably be going back to being Claudio Castagnoli, I assume. Make “Claudio Section” signs instead.

And Dakota's character has been looking like she'll disintegrate at any moment on NXT 2.0 from being stuck there for so long.

Great news here. Cesaro finally leaves a company that clearly had no intentions of ever pushing him throughout the entire time he was there.

Another fun fact from the points rankings to demonstrate what kind of workhorse Cesaro was during his run... He is one of only TWO wrestlers to have competed in 100 or more televised matches in a calendar year within (at least) the last 18 years, doing so in back-to-back years (107 in 2013, 101 in 2014). The other is Dolph Ziggler, who competed in 102 televised matches in 2014.

Five battle royals (including the Rumble and the Andre) and that year's Money In The Bank match. And they teamed up in tag matches twice.
