Any time they did the ring collapsing after a Superplex spot after Brock and Big Show did it.. It was so forced watching it rehashed for Strowman man. I liked Braun but come up with something original damn it. I still think Braun lifting the ring and tossing it over would've been a crazy visual. If they could find a way to do it.

Here's a twist on "forgettable": Everybody remembers that Kid Rock Concert. But does anybody actually remember anything about the concert besides it being long and spilling into the women's match? It's like the entire WWE Universe went to take a piss at the same time.
The only reason I could name any songs he might have played is because I'd just start randomly naming off his most famous tunes, not because I actually recalled what happened.

I still think Braun lifting the ring and tossing it over would've been a crazy visual. If they could find a way to do it. It’d have to have been something done as a pre-tape because the thing is just too big in terms of the dimensions of it, not so much the weight, that it would be next to impossible to do live. It’s not like a car or an ambulance that can give you a bit of momentum by virtue of the wheels “bouncing”. And the idea of him tipping it over onto its top would require you to evacuate the entire floor almost, because it’s not gonna land in the same 20x20 area as it starts, it’d land in the first ten rows and/or the commentary tables. Best he could do is lift a corner of it and kinda tip people out via the opposite corner.

Rhea Ripley has already won a main roster women’s singles title at WrestleMania. Last year. Her career has arguably already hit the mountaintop, other than her not doing it in the main event. You’d never know it looking at how people talk about her, but I guess that’s how it is for anyone who wins the gold and doesn’t squash (not just beat, SQUASH) Charlotte and Becky in the process of winning it or while defending it. It isn't so much squash, just anything close to a definitive clean win. Unless you're Becky or Charlotte, those don't happen often. Bainca got one, but it of course came off Sasha. Hell, even Becky's first reign came off a (botched?) pinfall over Rhonda that completely flattened the ending of the match.

For me, Bayley's first main roster title win, because they did it on a random Raw instead of saving it for Mania. One of the very few actual legit "Wrestlemania Moments" they had left and it was already done and dusted by Mania. Retaining just isn't the same.

It was an even more curious choice when you look at the way the feud was booked in general. Bayley won the title after Sasha got involved in the match, then they had that moment where Bayley could have given the belt up and refused (Her "Hell no!" got a big pop but also didn't really fit her character as it then was), then they had that 'PPV Streak' going for Charlotte that abruptly ended at Fastlane after Sasha again got involved. Felt like the obvious choice as you say was waiting for Mania to have Bayley win the title there, but instead they went another way and it didn't really work well.

I said it at the time, and I’ll say it again. Bayley was put in a no-win situation with that whole “give up the belt” gambit. Either she betrays the morals of her character and keeps it like she did, or she gives it up to Stephanie McMahon, and we all know that the chat coming out of it wouldn’t have been about Bayley staying true to her character, to say the least.

It was such an easy story to tell as well. Charlotte cheats every time she faces Bayley, she gets the big match and wins at WrestleMania, ending Charlotte’s PPV streak and women’s title reign in one fell swoop. The fact they basically made her into a fluke champion and then someone put in a no-win situation is something I didn’t even think WWE would be capable of doing. Now it’s what they do a lot but at the time? No way.

Pretty much everything Raw 25 was stuff that was supposed to be memorable that ended up not being memorable at all, or stuff that went so wrong that you couldn't forget. The only reason anyone remembers the bit with Balor Club and The Extended Kliq was because Cash Wheeler brought it up recently, and because it was one of Scott Hall's last appearances on TV. Austin's bit with Vince at the start of the show was even less memorable in spite of being a hot start to an otherwise dismal show. But we all remember how underutilized the Manhattan Center was throughout the show, while they shoved in really short 205 Live matches during commercial breaks as the fans who paid good money for the throwback experience got completely hosed. Some might have reviled in the hubris that a lot of the annoying superfans were there, but even then, that's only a small fraction of the people who were there. And that's not even getting into how Enzo Amore self-destructed behind the scenes as the allegations of sexual misconduct (that are mostly believed to be false these days) led to him parting ways with the company, relinquishing the Cruiserweight title and derailing several storylines in the process. That show broke me as a fan. I was at home with my son, excited to watch something special on this special show and after the Austin segment, there was nothing. My son said "this is boring " and decided to go play video games... and he was right.

Within a month of debuting Tensai got big wins over John Cena and CM Punk but he just wasn't over at all.

Cena proposing to Nikki Bella after their mixed tag match at WM 33. The only thing I remember from that angle is Maryse being a better looking Nikki Bella than Nikki Bella.

Within a month of debuting Tensai got big wins over John Cena and CM Punk but he just wasn't over at all. From a awful gimmick to not being able to do most of the moves that got him over in Japan to WWE having had a comparitive glut of monsters in the previous two years (Mark Henry had his Hall of Pain run the previous year and Brock Lesnar made his WWE return), Matt Bloom had no chance of getting over with Tensai.

Especially with like how slow and plodding they had him move so they could go into ninja poses... I still maintain that the poison claw was a great finisher >_>
