Dean Ambrose winning the WWE title. Also forgot that on that night, all three members of the Shield held it. Most of Ambrose's title reigns in the WWE sucked.

Should have been a massive match years in the making but it came and went with a whimper, being overshadowed by Roman's suspension and the return of the brand extension.

The fact that someone in this thread said that most of Shawn Michaels's moments are forgotten is the craziest thing I've read on this forum in my 13 years of reading(then finally making an account to post) this site.

That's me. And I stand by it. HBK is the most over pushed, over rated wrestler of all time. He was good, but never great, and I'll never understand how or why he got away with so much BS,or why the majority of fans hand wave it away. Meanwhile HHH or Hogan get crapped on.

Guys like Bret, Flair, Janetty, Jericho, Eddie, Owen, they did what HBK did... but better. HBK being in the discussion for GOAT is the single biggest bogus argument WWE has forced upon its fan base.

Him being a piece of shit doesn't erase his memorable moments though. Jimmy Snuka is probably a murderer but you can't say the splash from the top of the cage wasn't memorable. Michaels is one of the most influential wrestlers to the current generation. A lot of today's top stars say they were inspired by him. The barbershop window. The ladder match. The curtain call. DX. The first hell in a cell. The screwjob. Getting punched by Tyson. His return match with HHH. The superkick on Shelton Benjamin. Turning heel on Hogan. Who's your daddy, Montreal? The RR 2007 ending. The Jericho feud. The Bret reconciliation. Damn near every Wrestlemania match he had during his second run. He had an insane amount of memorable moments.

Ric Flair retirement, the Undertaker mania matches... including the one where he was retired especially gets brought up alot due to it's amazing promo package set to running up that hill. as for the POS Thing... you'll notice no one said like Hogan slamming Andre in this thread... or Triple H's return at Madison Square Garden. Though if we're talking about it... Mania 1 and 2 are pretty forgettable... 1 was a big damned deal at the time and super important to the health of the WWF and like wrestling as a whole.. but outside of like the EVENT itself... and pageantry the matches and everything involved in it really aren't brought up...

I never said being an asshole erased his big moments. Like I did, said, big moments are fewer and farer between for me. There's been maybe, in modern 1980 to now wrestling, 30 big moments? There's been others that were cool moments, or exciting at the time. The pipe bomb, Austin turning heel, HHH's MSG return. But I wouldn't consider them "BIG MOMENTS".

This is about moments that are largely forgotten though, not who you personally don’t like.
HBK has had tons of moments that are fondly remembered and celebrated. That’s just fact.
