Fine wrestler and performer no doubt, but I can never get into him as much as a large part of the fanbase does.

Hangman but it’s weird. Like him from a distance, been following his stuff since the bc/njpw stuff. Really get involved in his storylines and like him as a performer/wrestler but something keeps me from being a Hangman mark.

I don’t *hate* them or especially want them off my TV immediately, but Malaki and the House of Black for me are just “eh”. Typically dark creeper stable, can have good matches but I don’t see them as guys who really shake up the show, or why he was allegedly so much more fascinating/sympathetic than Cody was at the time. They’re a competent Ascension.

Eddie Kingston has good promos, good matches and an easy story to root for. It’s just that he’s in a super stacked company and surrounded by people who impress me even more and do things better than him IMO. I’m cool with him being a part of the company but I don’t see him as the next face of pro wrestling or anything.

I actually dig Mox, but I wish he would find some kind of actual ring gear. The NJPW look wasn't too bad. I just feel like the jeans/boots look is such an artifact of the Attitude Era. It's not a horrible look, but it's just tired to me.

I'm torn with my answer because I like a lot of the stuff Malakai Black does but his spooky promos do nothing for me. Excellent wrestler though who knows how to carry himself.

Might be because of her recent booking that could be clouding my judgment, but I'd say Britt Baker takes this for me.

She's a fine wrestler, I just don't have really any reason to care when she's onscreen.

I am meh on Jungle Boy as a future singles star as well as Adam Cole. Cole has never given me the HBK vibe that some seem to feel he possesses (not to mention he is even smaller in stature then Shawn was) Kind of reminds me of those memes that would end with a picture of Adam Cole and a tag line saying "HBK AT HOME".

I stopped watching NXT before Andrade and Adam Cole started there but was curious to see what they’d bring to AEW. So far, neither do anything for me.

Also, haven’t understood the appeal of Kris Statlander (and i don’t think it’s because of the alien gimmick, I love a ridiculous gimmick) but what I’ve seen of the more serious side to her recently makes me interested to see where she goes with that.

Not that they aren't good at what they do (they very much are), they just don't appeal to me very much.

And Mox _could_, but, there's just something about him that I bounce off of, and I'm not 100% sure what it is.

I remember him angrily in a promo saying he was like napalm death. It was lame, and eye- rolling, not nearly as badass as he no doubt thought.

I like the gear myself, though.

Malakai Black's pretty guilty of Cody sins, if I am being totally honest. I like him, but he gets a pass for a lot of irritating slog. Hart got misted how many months ago? Is that going anywhere?

I just can't see how anyone could look at the spectacular, stacked roster they've bought and decide the big headlining PPV main event they should be doing is Adam Page vs Adam Cole from any perspective other than indulgently trying to get their friends over.

Definitely Mox. Not that he's bad, but he's much better at showing he's a badass than talking about it, and yet AEW for some reason books it as if it's the other way around. Usually his promos come off to me as edgy and eyeroll-inducing.

...his music that doesn't fit his character at all still doesn't help, either.

(Ofc both these things are over as hell with the crowd, so what do I know?)

Yeah, I like Malakai's ring work for the most part... but I'm not really big on vague and creepy for vague and creepy reasons... which a lot of his storylines have been.
