It's still probably Disco. As Eddie said, nobody ever left a show thinking about him, which isn't the case even for some of the less pleasant names on this thread. Maybe the time he conked Manabu Nakanishi with a disco ball on Nitro after an Elvis impersonator ran out. They might remember the ball more, maybe. The Elvis impersonator's probably more memorable as people might have thought it was the Honky Tonk Man.

There was a guy whose name escapes me who had literally one WWF match as an enhancement talent losing to Jim Duggan in either 91 or 92.
He pops up about 25 years later on Cameo, doing video messages for $5 and he seems friendly enough. It's kind of a funny cool thing that this guy who had literally one televised WWF match is doing these long-form encouraging shout-outs for $5. No harm, no foul, pretty endearing all things considered.
Then, at some point he jacks the price up to $40-$75 and pivots into being an advocate for preserving Columbus Day and the positive legacy of Christopher Columbus. Just a wild non-sequitor detour.

Jake Atlas trying to pull the "don't you know who I am?" shit with those cops who arrested him certainly comes to mind.

I’ll never forget Low-Ki legit knocking someone out with his first move and then trying to have a long match with that person instead of just pinning them. On top of being a self-important jerk, he’s also an absolute dork. Ki's entire schtick was always "I'm just going to kick you as hard as I can and you have to take it because Daddy said sell". take that away and he's nothing.

He was really over for a brief time, probably could have been a world champion somewhere, even if not WWE, but his ego became out of control, and he just seems like a bitter, petty jackass. He makes Ahmed Johnson at his nadir look like the picture of humility. He's also a moron. I remember when he first got released he said something like he spent 5k a week when on the road with WWE and everybody's response was basically how. Melina used to be I'm this category but she's supposedly mellowed out a lot. Kid Kash is one who had a huge ego and and legit would tell promoters they needed to book big brawls just so he could dive on the pile and he'd refuse to accept bookings unless that happened

Al Snow seems to have this mentality. There was the time he went on a huge rant saying that the only good wrestling matches are ones that draw, which quickly got countered by people saying he must have had zero good matches.

Ivelisse has a bit of this to her. People who like her try to go to bat for her, but she has talked herself out of a few lucrative positions by now, and despite being pretty good, just isn't good enough to be worth it for people, it seems like. Looks like in addition to SHINE bookings, she's doing a travel show now: https://www.instagram.com/p/ChLEYbLAsDS

Bradshaw and Bob Holly assaulting others under the guise of hazing to make sure the guys are true to wrestling, pay their dues under their guise of being loyal to WWF. Like WCW was trying to lure them away and they stayed loyal LOL. They were both future endeavors waiting to happen from 1996 to 1999 until they got some good gimmicks.

I wonder if he's happy that the existence of Val Venis means that Disco never has to be the least pleasant attention-starved veteran around. Like, even at Disco's most needy, he's less pathetic. At least Disco has presumably never said, as Val once said in one of his shoot interviews, that he was against Martha Hart's WWE lawsuit as (paraphrased from memory) "People do die at work, that's just life".

I cannot imagine dropping 5k a week, even including hotel and car rental. At my bulkiest, I eat around 4,000 calories, and I know I am not spending 500+ dollars on food. Anyways, I agree that Ryback was hot and WWE fumbled, but the way Ryback handled it since then makes him unlikable in my eyes. Even if something that is 100 percent someone's else fault, you should always try to strive for a better future. There is no excuse for Ryback to go to the indies or Japan, hone on his craft and work with either Impact or even AEW if fans see that he wants to be serious.

Anybody have the link to Jim Cornette's story about that guy who wanted them to call him Blue Thunder? I can't find it anywhere

Sunny could make this list. She had a decent run as a manager in a small regional promotion before most fans knew who she was. But in the big leagues, she wasn't a good manager (i.e., getting any of her wrestlers over), wasn't a good commentator, was an awful actress, didn't wrestle, didn't take bumps, didn't sell tickets, became increasingly unreliable and was often at the center of backstage drama. Yet she's weirdly seen as some kind of "pioneer" for the industry and seems to bask in that. What did she actually DO for wrestling besides look hot?

I guess you can say she was the first modern diva and helped usher in the Attitude Era by becoming sexualized. You're right, she dosen't have much on her resume to warrant a Hall of Fame career, but that would be the standard argument for what made her "great."

I do generally wish her well, she just seems volatile and unfortunately has a knack for getting herself fired from shit.

Al Snow seems to have this mentality. There was the time he went on a huge rant saying that the only good wrestling matches are ones that draw, which quickly got countered by people saying he must have had zero good matches. The best thing with Al Snow is that now he's all poo-poo about gimmicks and comedy, as if people don't remember his name solely because of gimmicks and comedy. He's the last conceivable guy to turn into Old Man Yells At Cloud and the fact he has really puts him on the list, because what he thinks a good worker should have, he doesn't, so clearly he shouldn't be in that role. I know people get on Cornette a lot for being anti-comedy despite some of stuff he booked and took part in, but at least he's a guy with a resume of managing serious stars and for being behind successful products. What the f*** was Al Snow the mastermind of? He's also a giant pig and Abaddon has a story about him at a seminar yelling about how she and some other women would work harder if it as a 'dildo on a pole' match and asked her to be more attractive so she could get booked more, so clearly he's really spreading that wisdom about fundamentals, too.

Virgil.
The guy was a glorified goon for most of his career, and he thinks his autograph is worth 25 dollars.
