If they do more Halloween movies in the future (no reason not to...got money to make) I would love for them to continue from part 4 and do a trilogy with Danielle Harris in the starring role ...this way you still have Michael without rebooting the whole damn thing (again), still keep it teathered to a movie in the original series but don't need to do Laurie Strode all over again. Now whether it would be with Danielle Harris in the role of the protagonist idk because I never did like we never did get a follow up to that ending. She died in that timeline.

Not if we ignore part 6..hell ignore part 5 while we are at it to , this latest trilogy ignored basically every movie outside the first so whats another timeline added to the list.

If this theoretically means Rachel is still alive, I approve. Killing her off in part 5 is one of the franchise's greater sins.

I still want them to do a Halloween: Multiverse movie that involves Paul Rudd bouncing in between the different timelines battling multiple versions Michael Myers alongside cast members from the different movies. Who doesn't want to see Rudd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danielle Harris, Malcolm McDowell and Busta Rhymes in a movie together?

HEnds was NOT what I was expecting and it took my a while to get into the route the movie was taking. It is really hard to compare to the other Halloween movies. A lot of stuff that happened here should have been set up in the previous movies. I can see why people dislike this movie, but I liked it (not sure if I loved it yet). Definitley better than the clusterf*** that was Halloween Kills IMO. They did NOT play it safe and went an unexpected route {Spoiler}{Spoiler}it felt like John Carpenter´s Christine with Myers being the car. Is it a coincidence that Corey and Arnie´s last names were Cunningham? . It is very character and story driven. Maybe not what the "final entry of the saga" needed to be but I aplaud them for actually doing soemthing different and invest in a story. Current franchise ranking after first impression: Halloween Halloween 3 Halloween 2018 Halloween 2 HALLOWEEN ENDS Halloween H20 RZ´s Halloween II Halloween 4 RZ´s Halloween Halloween Kills Halloween Resurrection Halloween 5 Halloween 6 (all versions)

Just have Micheal become kind of an urban legend. There's murders all over the country that fit his MO, but noone believes he's actually alive. Jamie and Rachel are estranged, or you could retcon the "Jamie stabs her foster mom" as a dream and Rachel and Jamie are close, but live apart. Eventually Micheal makes it back to Haddonfield, and... idk. But it's something.

Let’s just make Halloween 1978 again but this time Laurie’s dad doesn’t ask her to drop a key off at the Myers house thus dooming her in multiple timelines for over four decades.
Have him find someone else to stalk.

Eventually Micheal makes it back to Haddonfield, and... idk. But it's something. I would go a bit silence of the lambs with it. Keep Jamie as the villan but have Rachel as I guess sort of the loomis of the movie now where she personally knows who is doing these nation wide murders that have spread cross country for however many years but she refuses to get the authorities involved and tries to keep out of it untill she can't. And you can eventually have her try and reason with Jamie , try to stop her herself but in the end has to go to Michael wherever she can dig him up for him (lets just say in this timeline he got locked away for good by loomis before Loomis passed away) and while we would never hear him speak , she is lead on a goose chase to finally stop Jamie(not kill her though I aint for that downer of an ending)...and of course use the post credits to reveal Michael used this whole thing to get out of his prison. That is just a very light very off the top of my mind version I just got to thinking.

It's not a terrible movie at all. I'm just not sure it's the epic grand finale it promises to be.

I really think they need to do a period piece next. Always keep 78 canon but you can do whatever you want at any time after that.

This def had too much going on. Like the ideas of 2 and 3 feel diff from each other and this could had its place in a diff movie. I feel like they skipped over the character development that made this interesting in the first place {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} I don't really care about the granddaughter as she has been the least interesting thing in all the movies. Like how stupid can you be after everything you have seen to think the way she does. Resentment sure but once again you needed time to build that up.
From how Corey started to how he ended was a good transformation but one that could been better over a few films.
They should stretched this out to 4 films if anything as the main selling point was not it. If you wanted to make an overall movie about how f***ed the town is that's fine but it contrast with everything else. Like I don't care that they are getting killed because everyone is a shit head in this movie.
If you did not have Laurie I could understands the film but they wrote themselves in a hole with the way they did Kills.
Considering everything, Halloween 2018 was the best way they could did the film and didn't need to expand on it
