It still baffles me that they have the most Southern Boys gimmick ever and half their ring gear for years had confederate flags on it. They're from Deleware. I live in New Jersey and if you ever go to the southern half of the state you'll see a ton of lifted pickup trucks flying Confederate flags. Despite it still being, y'know, New Jersey. As an Army Brat, I lived primarily in the south until my Dad’s next to last assignment in Fort McCoy in Wisconsin. I saw more confederate flags in that part of Wisconsin than I did when I lived in Alabama. Wisconsin.

A good bit of Pennsylvania is the same. There’s a famous and very accurate James Carville quote: “Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle”

Basically, if you're in the part of the state they call it Taylor ham, you're in North Jersey. If you're in the part of the state they call it pork roll, you're in South Jersey. Central is where it gets called both. I don't know what all this means but I know I'm hungry now Just get Taylor ham on a roll with cheese-pepper-n-ketchup and you’re good til dinner.

Yeah I’m not that far south at all, that could be why. Most would probably say I’m in “central” Jersey. Basically, if you're in the part of the state they call it Taylor ham, you're in North Jersey. If you're in the part of the state they call it pork roll, you're in South Jersey. Central is where it gets called both. If it were mapped, how similar would it be to the Philly/NY sports teams map?

Pretty similar; you get to Philly fans once you get down to southern Ocean county on the east side of the side, and south of Trenton on the west side. The egg is implied. ...though I have seen sandwiches done just with extra Taylor Ham in lieu of egg. It can be done. Should it be done? Perhaps not. But it can.

And a lot of Central tends to associate more with New York than Philly since it sticks out east. You can see the Manhattan skyline on a clear day in the Bayshore parts of Monmouth and Middlesex.

Welcome to the United States of Idiocracy where even the northernmost states think the southern part of their state is "the south". Like in their minds did each state have its own Civil War? Did each state secede from each state? Sometimes I can't with this country.

At least the people down in the South who use that flag can try and make the "heritage not hate" excuse even if more and more people don't buy it.
Hell, I saw some pictures of people with the flag IN CANADA.

And in a lot of states, the divide is often urban/rural or city/small town. In the case of New Jersey, that kind of aligns to our north/south divide that everyone here on each side acknowledges (even if south Jerseyans refuse to accept central Jersey's existence). It's east/west in Massachusetts, for example. Fun fact: originally, before becoming a united colony under the English, New Jersey was actually divided between East Jersey and West Jersey, with the dividing line between them being shockingly close to where the widely culturally accepted north/south division line is today. East Jersey had more influence from the Dutch, who were based out of New Netherlands/New York, while West Jersey had influence from both the Quakers, who found a home in William Penn's proprietary colony next door, and a little bit from the Swedes, who had initially tried to settle near what would become Philadelphia during their very brief attempt at North American colonization (the Dutch took their settlement without having to fire a shot). But we're getting kind of far afield, here, let's circle back to topic.

Former Army as well and I have seen it here more at home on the Illiana border than I did in South Carolina

There's a diner by me that does a Taylor Ham and cheese sandwich with something like 8 slices of ham. If I ever just give up on life I'm gonna try it.

Just get Taylor ham on a roll with cheese-pepper-n-ketchup and you’re good til dinner. Don’t forget the egg I’m usually against food talk detailing a thread. But I was working at a sub shop in New England owned by a Jersey transplant and I had ZERO idea what Taylor ham was before I worked there. It was a hit seller from other Jersey people that came through. But none of the locals seemed to know what it was either.

I still don't really understand this. If they were completely persona non-grata and Warner/Discovery just wanted absolutely nothing to do with them at all then I would get it but that's clearly not the case.
Last week Dynamite ended with announcing a big Briscoes match for the ROH PPV. This week they showed a video celebrating that match.
They might not be physically appearing in front of the crowd live but I don't see why one thing is allowed and the other isn't. You're still platforming and hyping them with precious TV time on your network.

I had seen no facts whatsoever to confirm or deny it though.

Baseless speculation from a known bullshit artist with an axe to girnd doesn't seem like it'd even be worth sharing in a "Well who really knows what truth even is" kind of way
