Seattle drastically overpaid Geno And for a team not winning anything any time soon, why bother?

The Jets fandom online is losing their minds about not signing Carr and like I get it this fandom has been starved for a QB for decades but Carr would have been a huge mistake especially at that price.

Can’t wait to see how long it takes for Jim to end up back on the Niners.
For real though, I don’t fully think the Brady book is closed. Niners starter next season.

I really hate that price so I am glad they didn't get him Word is Jets really made an impression on him and he wanted to go there but Jets are kicking the tires hard on Rodgers

Which is more than fair to Carr that he don't want to wait and he got a much better deal than I expected him to get At absolute worst Jets have a ton of fallback options if they do not get Rodgers and while fans may not want to hear it, they are still very incredibly young and another year of team bonding would do them well with at least a competent QB like Tannehill I am honestly more than fine with another 8-9 win season if they don't get a Rodgers. I rather they not spend crazy and just get someone to drive the competition while giving Mike White a look to see what he can truly do with an opportunity

I listened to a clip of Anthony Richardson talking to Rich Eisen. Eisen asked him about whether he talked to the various teams in the top 10. Eisen went down the line and asked if he talked to each team individually. When he got to asking about the Colts, Richardson had a weird, awkward pause before hesitantly saying he met with them informally and then mumbling about a training session with them (which sure as hell isn’t informal).
I can only think of two reasons for this:
1) The Colts are legitimately not interested in Richardson and he didn’t like admitting to it.
2) The Colts met with him and hit it off so well that Richardson wants to improve the odds that he’ll still be available when they draft without them having to trade up. By suggesting that the Colts are interested in another prospect that might reduce the odds that someone like the Raiders trade up to leapfrog the Colts.

I rather they not spend crazy and just get someone to drive the competition while giving Mike White a look to see what he can truly do with an opportunity Carr got a lot of money and the Saints have no better options and need someone to be stable. Hopefully their young WR core develops, won't be shocked if they draft another. Jets could get Jimmy G as well, there's always that option, really once Rodgers makes a decisions the other dominos will fall when it comes to Vet QBs

Seems like Jets all boom or bust for A-Rod tho they have the resources to get him and talent level

Falcons were all in on the nasty man, but aren't interested in the former mvp. Disgusting The optics look bad but the front office is being smart here. Watson at least might have gone to them, Lamar isn't gonna be leaving Baltimore. Ravens are just going to let another team hammer out a contract Lamar and his agent agree to just to match it. So why would Atlanta waste their time trying to negotiate with a player they have no shot at? Because if the Ravens weren't planning on matching they would have just traded Lamar for more picks than the 2 firsts they'd get in this situation.
