Watched an interview with Brett Goldstein and man he does not sound like Roy Kent at all. So soft spoken and smiley.
I remember watching Stefanie Beatriz from Brooklyn 99 in a behind the scenes interview out of character and she doesn’t sound anything like Rosa. She’s so bubbly and high pitched.
Brian baumgartner bot sounding like Kevin from the office was a real shock

Seeing just how much the Red Green Show cast were putting on voices for their characters was a real trip.

Coming from recent interviews, Undertaker.
Rue McClanahan not sounding like Blanche takes a little adjustment too.
Rose McIver's American accent is so natural, I have to adjust when I hear her (equally pleasant) natural New Zealand accent...which I did in spades this past weekend when we met ;-) :-)

Not being familiar with British TV at the time, I was completely shocked that Hugh Laurie was British during the first season of House. His American accent is amazing. I also remember breathing a sigh of relief that Ariana Grande's real voice isn't the one she used in Sam & Cat and Victorious. My God her voice in those shows is like nails on a chalkboard (my daughter watched these shows, LOL).

I only really knew Hugh Laurie from House so hearing him speak in a posh British accent really threw me for a loop lol.

I was mad at myself for not realizing he had that bit part with Rachel on the plane where he did use his British accent. I didn't realize that until after the fact.

Jim Cummings is a good example. I was so used to his deep voice, especially when doing the Kids WB bumpers and when he used a variant with an Australian accent as Monterey Jack. Even when he has a little bit of a higher tone for some of his voices, you can still tell it's him. However, when I watched an interview with him and heard his real voice, I was a bit shocked.

The late James Gandolfini giving interviews in a voice that clearly wasn’t a New Jersey Italian accent always threw me off.

I’ve still not fully recovered from James Marsters not being British.

But the "Jersey accent" in media tends to get exaggerated. A lot of us don't sound like mob bosses when we talk.

in another direction of the thread... that Richard Steven Horvitz, actually just sounds like that and he's not really putting on a voice

Opposite ends of the spectrum: Stephanie Beatriz on Brooklyn Nine Nine and Nichole Sakura and Superstore.

I only really knew Hugh Laurie from House so hearing him speak in a posh British accent really threw me for a loop lol. Similarly, Christian Bale's been doing American roles for so long it's always jarring to hear him use his real accent. Also, Patrick Stewart's natural accent has a lot more Yorkshire in it than the voice he uses on camera. It's definitely faded over the decades, but it's still noticeable on the rare occasion you get to hear him talk informally.

The first time I heard Randy Savage speak in his regular voice, I was not expecting it to sound exactly like a less intense Macho Man voice.

Retro example, but realizing Sterling Holloway's Pooh voice was essentially his own was surreal, as was seeing him in semi-villainous roles like the Twilight Zone:
