Nothing. Any move can work as long as it fits into the in-ring narrative the story is telling and wrestling is about showmanship more than anything else. If I wanted realistic-looking fights I'd watch MMA.
I find it hard to believe no matter how strong you are, you can easily hip toss someone. That requires the receipient to jump up in the air and do a summersault to make it look crisp. It’s a bastardized judo throw. If they did it properly you can very easily toss someone over like that. Pro wrestlers do it the half baked pro wrestling way. Ronda actually tosses girls judo style. This. And then there's martial arts like aikido where the entire point is for smaller, lighter people to use their opponents' size and strength against them.

Bronco Buster. Unless it's just a humiliation move, there's no legit reason for any opponent to get health bar depleted by that.

I remember Paige doing a submission move on top of the announce table and this was supposed to hurt more for some unknown reason.

Something no one seems to remember is that Syxx started using the move in WCW without the bouncing, just a single buttsplash to a corner-slumped opponent.
And a puro wrestler named Billy Ken Kid did a variation where he bounced off the middle rope, almost did an Ultimo Dragon turnbuckle handstand, then swung his body downwards to do the splash.
But Vinces McMahon and Russo both loved their potty humor, and when one of them noticed that the move does place the attacker's crotch near the defender's face, it was game on.

Yeah, Waltman cribbed the move off Jinsei Shinzaki while he was in the WWF as Hakushi, and Shinzaki made that shit look like murder.

I mean, the real answer here is like, over half of almost every active pro wrestlers moveset since like 2003-4.
All the slap strikes (knees, forearms, elbows) especially the running variants to an opponent who's on their knees or laid over the second rope would be damn near fatal blows even in an MMA fight. I'd like to see just one time where a running knee to the head was a KO finish in a match. That being said, as I do like MMA I enjoy seeing these but it's crazy that they aren't finishers.
Then of course you move over to the wildly stupid and totally immersion-breaking shit like Canadian Destroyers and Spanish Fly's, which I find 100% more egregious than the strikes I was talking about.
