Cartoon Network, The New Day, Street Fighter and many more have paid tribute to him

Eh... I wouldn't go that far. For one... Disney is one of the influences in early Manga That and the better argument for the Walt Disney figure of Japan is Osamu Tezuka or, from a more modern era, Hayao Miyazaki. Toriyama is in his own category of cultural importance, though.
Would it be appropriate that he's comparable to Stan Lee & Jack Kirby where his stuff basically shaped so many to follow?

I forgot he had done Chrono Trigger. I enjoyed that at least. That said, he was huge for so many of my friends who were into DragonBall and it's various incarnations. Crazy to think he was as young as he was.

Justin Chatwin, who played Goku, has paid tribute to Toriyama and apologized for how poorly done the live action movie was.

YMMV on modern Dragon Ball but had Evolution not been received as it was and Toriyama not disliked it as much as he did we might not have gotten another revival with his direct input.

They had the Dragonball manga prominently displayed at the bookstore.
Was tempted to pick up the first volume of the 3-in-1, but I have a big problem having only part of a series, and just don't have the room.

Went to a Book-Off outside of Tokyo on my lunch break this afternoon. They had an entire showcase dedicated Toriyama merch. And it really looked like the prices got marked up before getting put in said showcase.
