Because holy crap, him losing the title was bad but not even getting a shot in on Roman was kind of silly. An okay subversion but still.
Curious if he's re-signed or not with how this went.

it was really funny how quickly he was taken out but give the guy credit for even going out there, he got his ass handed to him all weekend. if we're going solely by kayfabe, he should've been army crawling to the ring, he was f***ing spent. i don't really have a problem with it

I assume the idea was to sell that he basically had nothing left to offer but was still trying to help anyway, given Drew all but squashed him.

The handshake between Cody and Seth at the end was so f***ing funny because it was just like
Cody- Thank you so much Seth!
Seth- ... For losing twice and getting beaten down twice?
Cody- Yes, you did a great job my friend!

Had to be done, it made the show better, there's more to do with Seth with two horrible nights than one bad one and one good one.

Roman lost because he still couldn’t get over Seth betraying him all those years ago.

That shit was hilarious. All these dudes having these big heroic moments and Roman just takes out the return of Shield Seth with ease. Dude looked like a total goof.

Shitttttt, I'm fine with it. Seth worked 2 really dope matches. If he gotta take an L tonight only to be saved by Undertaker? I'm fine with it.

Maybe I’m thinking too much into it but surely he did the Shield thing knowing he would likely get his ass kicked but it would trigger Roman enough to cost him the match. Which it did….

Roman lost because he still couldn’t get over Seth betraying him all those years ago. this is the part that people won't talk about but I am completely certain is the story here roman couldn't get over the sins of the past and it ended up dooming him. i see what they're cooking and i f***ing love it

This is the start of Seth’s fall from grace. He’s still sore about losing to Cody so often, then he tries to befriend him and help him against Bloodline (while also defending his own honor as WHC), and not only does he lose night one but he loses his own title? Now Cody’s strapped up, and he’s got nothing. Seth is going to absolutely snap and it’ll be glorious.

He got absolutely annihilated in that main event but it set up the Roman feud so I’d say it’s a win.

Ha. Always has to be someone in bitchalla...
This guy has been booked to beat just about everyone all year. I'm sure he'll be fine.
I actually thought it was a huge show of respect for Seth that even in this moment, they still positioned him as Roman's kryptonite. Seth's still so far in his head it cost him his title run.

That could have been better executed, though. Like have Roman and Rock look all over the place until Seth sneaks in, hits him with the chair, knocks down Rock for a few seconds until Roman can hit the punch and take him down. The fact they didn’t even get him in shot before it made him seem like terribly unimportant which bothers me because Seth wearing that went to a draw with that same Tribal Chief!

I'm going to start to believe this because he was the ONLY one not in the ring for the celebration on the shoulders. That should be a hint what will happen.

I think he got hit right away because he is legit injured. He looked to be in pain.
