Mine would be Art School Confidential. I loved this movie alot, but it got horrid reviews. The thing to me that made it great was how actually accurate it shown totally sensationalist how most art is just a huge joke and just and lame most people are in all colleges, not just art schools. But I guess the majority of people didn't get it.
But anyway what are your favorites?

Twister
The reviews were mainly critical of the lack of story, but I didn't think that a movie about very realistic looking tornadoes really needed a complex or deep storyline. If anything I thought it had TOO MUCH story.

The Butterfly Effect
Was mainly for Ashton Kutcher but I thought he was okay in the role...

Either you have it, or you don't. Besides, such poor people have to end up sharing apartments with philosophy majors. Anyway, favorite movie of mine that got horrible reviews? Save for Vincent Casby at the New York Times, and ole Roger Ebert, every other media critic in 1983 HATED this movie: But now? "A classic" loved by millions of people and rappers who missed the entire point of the film.

If anything I thought it had TOO MUCH story. I would say that TWISTER had a villain in Cary Elwes (he's British, not American dammit!) that was pointless, except simply a snobbish s***head for the audience to root against, and to prove how Mother Nature is a total b****. Plus, why would Bill Paxton go back to a woman that is obviously suffering from damn emotional trauma? "Yeah, a tornado took daddy away, so I need to chase them even if it gets me and you killed." "Oh yeah, I wanna blow you away tonight!"

Rat Race. Universally panned but loved by me. You know, I enjoyed that movie. It tried to be IT'S A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD for the new century, and its one of the Zucker boys trying to have fun. That said, the ending sucked. Smashmouth?

Puddle Cruiser. I'm sure it got horrible reviews because it itself was kind of horrible. There's laughs in there though. And one of the greatest cock blocks of all time. What can I say, I like the Broken Lizard boys.

Fear and Loathing. Great book made into a great film. Critics just didn't get it. *EDIT* Honorable Mention to Grandmas Boy

When I was little, I remember saying that Home Alone 3 was better than 1 and 2...mostly because I didnt understand a whole lot of 1 and 2.
Home Alone 2 is classic though...havent seen 1 since I was little though.

I've got a thing for UHF. That movie is classic Weird Al. And watching Michael Richards play a borderline retard is just great fun: "Ok, I'm thinking of something orange. Something orange. Give up? It's an ORANGE?!"

"She's The Man" Yeah, I might be the only one here, but I liked it, especially after reading Shakespeare's "Twelth Night" that the movie was based off on. Everyone hates it mainly for Amanda Bynes. I thought she was ok.

Currently, I guess it's "Ghost Rider"
And of all time, I'd say it's a tie between "Mallrats" and "Freddy Got Fingered"
