Honestly the thing thats kept me entertained the most is MVP/Hardy

I also think people need to calm down.....this is going to be a slow build. What have people been complaining about WWE. Doing quick storylines with no real buildup.....well, now you are getting one.

I had a dream where JR slipped and said Jericho like 2 times in the night he debuted....
We'll see if I am right with how things are going. I just hope the reaction is massive when whom ever it is comes out.

I don't think it's that easy. I think this is Vince et al missing the point. The buildup to Jericho's debut was great, because we didn't know what was coming. Now we're waiting for it and getting damned impatient. This won't hold out for the long buildup Vince is hoping to pull off. Tonight was the night and they missed it. Teasing it for months (or even month) won't have the impact of bringing him back tonight or last night. People were hyped and now they're disappointed. Oh for God sake! 'Vince is missing the point'? Vince knows exactly what he is doing. I'm laughing so much at this thread. I was away all weekend and as such didn't read any newz before watching Raw. Nothing on Raw suggested Jericho would come back tonight, and I wasn't dissapointed because I wasn't expecting it. Now, considering I hadn't had access to the internet, I would assume my stance would be like the majority of casual fans. They may want Jericho back, but nothing the WWE have done is giving them any obligation to bring him back on a certain day. I want him back, but the only people who are saying 'right, that's it, I'm getting impatient now and it won't be as good' are the IWC, because they have allowed newz to completely rule them. They have been lead to thinking they deserve Jericho because someone apparently in the know has said do. Most fans may think it is Jericho, but don't read the utter trash that is wrestling 'news' to allow them to get worked up over nothing. Tonight wasn't the night at all. Missed it? I can't get over the over reaction on here, it's brilliant! The majority want him back, and may even chant his name, but I can't imagine many of them saying the WWE have missed out on the oppurtunity now, just because they have - heaven forbid - built something up for longer than a month. The only reason you think they have missed it is because you got spun a web by the internet, most of the people I know still desperately want Jericho back, and haven't let their excitement get dampened from a barefaced lie on the internet.

Honestly,I thought HHH was gonna turn on Michaels. For some reason I just always expect it. NO. NO. NO. If I have to sit through another senseless year long program between HHH and HBK..I'll go crazy. (not that they didn't have some good matches back in the day..but thats over with..its DONE..LEAVE IT ALONE!!) On the subject of the Jericho..the only reason this is bothering us is because we know its happening. They probably had a date set long ago for when they were going to have him return and we just expect every RAW to be that date when nothing is written in concrete. I'll give them credit. They have me interested in the product and I tune in every week.

So they say, but they say wrong. If 97% of the fans didn't read the internet, then there wouldn't have been massive "Kennedy" chants the week or two after the bastard son angle was announced and Vince had everyone around the ring. Jericho you could make the argument that it looked like a Jericho promo, but there was no way they'd know about Kennedy except via the net. Make no mistake, the majority of fans may not agree with all the smarks on things like Cena or HHH but they do read Internet wrestling sites. Or...the on screen staredowns between Vince and Kennedy were not even remotely subtle and fans figured it out on their own.

Honestly the thing thats kept me entertained the most is MVP/Hardy That's my real problem with it. I'm not upset that the debut didn't happen. A little disappointed maybe but not upset. The problem is (and I say again that generally I enjoy both shows), the show they put around it last night was so bad, I thought it was deliberate so that whoever could debut and "save us" from the garbage on the screen. Instead of that we're back to McMahon vs. DX. Put a halfway decent show on and they can run the promos for six months for all I care.

Anyway, I'd have to dig up my tapes but I'm pretty sure they chanted it even before the staredowns. Seriously I can't understand this elitism (not exactly the right word, but you know what I mean) among the IWC... How many people have internet access nowadays? Or better yet, how many don't? How many people have never googled something they're willing to spend hundreds of dollars on? I love that people think it's so unbelievable that the average fan might know how to use the internet and might use it for more than porn.

I am a bit amazed that JR and Kang don't even mention the Save.Us promos anymore. I mean, they barely mentioned it before and now they act like they didn't even run on the TV.
with that being said, it appears that whatever Save.Us happens to be will be revealed on 11/19. I am assuming that someone other than me noticed the following messages...
2nd_Coming Upon_Us 19_launch
Meaning that this will launch probably on November 19th, the RAW right after the Survivor Series.
Thoughts?
EDIT - This has probably been mentioned 1000 times, but I do have college and a child and stuff...

I am still eargerly anticipating his return and am enjoying the slow build. I think a lot of casual fans would have that opinion as well.

I love that people think it's so unbelievable that the average fan might know how to use the internet and might use it for more than porn. Agreed. Most fans aren't smarks, but I'll bet some marks are more net-savvy (and smarter) than we might like to think. I think some fans in the know talk about the casual audience like they're mildly retarded and need to be held by the hand, when in reality they are average, possibly rational-minded people who simply think of the wrestlers in the context of the characters that they play on-camera. But that's another story. Anyway, the wrestling audience is just less patient in general nowdays, and since Raw no longer has its "What's gonna happen NEXT?!?" feel that it's known for, the patience level's going to be even thinner. I don't think they've blown the SAVE_US.222 payoff just yet, but if we don't get it by...uhm, I'd say the Raw after Survivor Series, it's time to (further) question the writers.

I genuinely don't think most fans spend their times cruising the sites looking for the information we do. It was true back when Vince Russo was doing smark/insider angles in 2000 (when everyone had internet access and I guarantee more people were cruising sites) and no one got them and it's still true now.

It was never advertised or even suggested that Jericho may be a part of this.

I am still eargerly anticipating his return and am enjoying the slow build. I think a lot of casual fans would have that opinion as well. *grumble* Damnit... makin' me find the right DVD. Took 15 minutes. I need to start organizing. Annnyway... RAW, 8/13, starts with everyone around the ring. Vince comes down, talks about being surprised at the news last week that he has a bastard son. Stared no one down on his way. The previous week, he got the information as he was getting into his limo when the show was going off the air so he definitely didn't stare anyone except Coach down then. Anyway, Stephanie gets in the ring and she goes on and eventually says that it's someone around the ring. Very audible "Kennedy" chants can be heard at this point. Vince has no stared anyone down at this point. There was absolutely no hints at this point. Later, when McMahon gets out of the ring he starts the stare downs. When he stares down Kennedy the crowd erupts. They knew.

It's sad that RAW sucks so much that so many people feel "cheated" into watching.
