Why fans getting pissed off when Jericho doesn't appear on a show he wasn't advertised to be on is beyond me.
As I said in another thread, all of this is just speculation by the fans. WWE have never once said that Chris Jericho will be returning, or the date that he would return. They have no obligation to produce him, either. For all we know, these videos could be something totally unrelated. Remember, it's all speculation, not fact.

Ok, since nobody seems to get it, let me put it another way: people would not be upset about the absence of Jericho if Raw had more to offer these days than recycled crap.

Ok, since nobody seems to get it, let me put it another way: people would not be upset about Jericho not showing if this past Raw (and a lot of recent Raws for that matter) wasn't pure crap. The quality of a television show doesn't matter. It can be the best or worst show in the world, but for the fans to speculate that something is going to happen and then be angry at the show for not delivering something (that wasn't even advertised to begin with) is absurd. While I do agree that the quality of Raw is not very good, I can't place any blame on WWE for not 'delivering' Chris Jericho, at all. They never told the fans it was going to occur, so how can we be angry with it?

I still think the whole thing is great, and I'm even more enthused that a bunch of 'smart' fans are now complaining about being tricked... or worked.

How can you be positive about that? How many of the millions of households that watch Raw have you visited to see for yourself what the reaction is? I'm sure it was somewhat big, but it couldn't have been so bad to the point where the fans would stop enjoying the show and not mark for certain wrestlers like HBK, HHH and Jeff Hardy who got a big reaction during the tag match. So it's not like the Jericho thing is the only thing that most fans are thinking about. How can you be sure without proof?

Maybe they are, you might have a point there, but again it's not to the point where if they don't produce Jericho, WWE is going to stop doing business or anything and the fans are going to stop going to live events or ordering PPV's. He's just one man and WWE has done pretty well without him for the past 2 years. So even if the entire building were to chant his name, WWE is under no obligation to put him out there. If fans want to take time from their day to pick apart a short video and make their own conclusions and think they know when he's coming back, to the point where they are willing to even put down 40 dollars is rather silly especially when again WWE has never once advertised him on their TV programs or their website.

Why would you even suggest that? It's not really in response to you as opposed to the many posts I've read about "Baiting and switching" (when nothing of the sort happened) and how if this goes on for another month, people are going to be so pissed that the payoff supposedly won't work, that's why I said it. It's just funny to see people getting themselves riled up over a few videos, especially when they never once said that Jericho was appearing at No Mercy, Cyber Sunday or the 10/29 Raw.

How is it funny when anyone gets upset? If the situation were grave and of a more serious nature, then perhaps I wouldn't, but in this instance it's downright hilarious to me. Especially when there was no proof of him appearing at those shows. So yes, I could laugh at those people who allowed themselves to get hyped up over nothing and are upset with WWE for supposedly "Bait and switching" them when nothing of the sort happened.

Seriously, you guys are taking this too hard, who in the hell cares that he didn't come back when yoou guys predicted/wanted him too ? He isn't gonna single handedly raise Raw's ratings back into low 4's early 5's you know. And its funny that people are upset over fictional television programming...lets be freakin serious, if you're legitimately upset, you need to stop watching wrestling for a bit and get taste of real life, because if this is your be-all and end-all, you have serious problems.
