When the subject is Brie Larson and/or Captain Marvel. Those are all by one person...ugh. Obsessed much? Reminds me of that disgusting Molly Holly stalker.

That's not Chris Paul. If it was, he would have done a twisting flop the minute Shaggy bumped him.

I always loved this show's version of Raph as an easygoing, laid-back wisecracker instead of the GRITTY!!1 grump with a violent streak he's been in every other incarnation. I know the show veers from the way he was originally portrayed but man is it a breath of fresh air.

Screw it, I'm adding deaths in video games to this thread: For unknown reasons, Jarek either laments or proudly bellows his sexual orientation whilst plummeting to his death.

Ranma 1/2 has an excellent English dub which I prefer over the Japanese voices. Same for the Dragon Ball series.
The best dub I've ever heard is from Record of Lodoss War. Beautifully done and spectacular series with unrivaled character designs to boot. Can't speak on the second series as I haven't gotten around to it at.

He's awesome, Mike is hit or miss (totally different in terms of pwrsonality, and Ryan is the most bland member of his "crew" I've ever seen.
What the heck ever happened to Bootsy anyhow?

I think Captain Marvel will be fine. Thor is basically unstoppable, especially with his hammer, and they found ways around it. So we are gonna see Fat Captain Marvel? Didn't Carol go through a period in the comics the last 10 years or so where she was referred to as being thick/"thicc" by other characters?

There should be 1/4th the characters that are actually in the books, at least. The appendix is just a bloated mess.

I saw Jim Carrey's Grinch movie and it was the drizzling shits. I can't even fathom how a movie could be worse than that so I wouldn't watch this if you paid me.

I saw Ben Folds Five once in the early 2000s. Folds is in this weird situation where he's respected and doing fine with more of a cult fandom, but he had one very strange crossover to the mainstream. So midway through the concert, he says to the other guy, "So, what do you think? Time to play The Hit?" "Yeah, let's play The Hit." "Okay, it's time for The Hit everyone!" And then they played "Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head." They never played "Brick." Considering that song is based on tragedy (his IIRC then-girlfriend needing to get an abortion) I can understand why.

I always loved how Sarge kicked out of the legdrop immediately after the ref hit 3. Even if he was past his physical prime, it made him seem tough as nails s nobody else did that after Hogan's finishing move.

This was a mistake. A Dixie Carter level of mistake. This humiliation will chase him for his entire life. I hope the money was worth it CM. He had all the sympathy and interest in the world from fans following the Colt podcast, but once the UFC stuff was mentioned it went over like a rancid fart in church.

Nobody sold an Irish whip to the turnbuckle 4/10ths as well as Bret. That could have been a believable finish to that match.

Owen Hart's babyface run post screw job. Feuds with Shawn, needs the win to finally establish himself as a serious threat, loses via screwy finish. Suddenly drops down to a feud with Hunter, needs the win at WM14 to stay relevant, nope, another loss via screwy finish. Terrible but not surprising in hindsight given the egos and pettiness of the guys he feuded with.

Yokozuna, don't blame Canada, blame yourself. Reading that card makes me feel like whoever wrote it was hammered.

Then they gave into Halle Berry's diva demands Reminds me of Samuel Jackson wanting creative control on Mace Windu, getting his own super special exclusive lightsaber, not wanting to "die like a bitch" etc. Halle was awful as Storm, which is a shame because she's (arguably) Marvel's most popular female character, at least until the MCU exploded 10 years ago. If it weren't for the fact that her powers are so similar to Thor she'd probably be even more spotlighted.
