That Dwayne Johnson fella should probably be inducted soon. I just don't see it. I love The Rundown and all but how exactly does a few appearances in WWE Films projects warrant a Hall of Fame induction? For an actor like him to be inducted, I feel like he should have to contribute something in the ring before he can even be considered.

It's gotta be Magnus. I had literally forgot the guy even existed until I read this thread. That tells me all I need to know because he was a great talent. That shit ruined his career.

Stampede Wrestling had perhaps its most profitable and successful period come to a crashing halt in 1963 when Mike DiBiase, Ted's father, cut a promo where he said, "If brains were dynamite, the people of Calgary couldn't blow their noses". This promo was so shocking at the time that they had their television show cancelled.
Another fun Stampede story: Later on in the 60s, once they'd landed back on TV, Abdullah the Butcher got announcer Ed Whalen so pissed off that he smashed him in the face with his microphone, busting Abdullah wide open. As you can imagine, Ed was absolutely terrified of inevitably having to see him again. However, when the two did run into each other the next week, he instead received a warm, friendly greeting with a grateful Abdullah giving him a hug and telling him how Ed getting in such a blind rage had made the promo amazing.

Any show that ends with Sting, looking absolutely livid, standing on the stage responding to a chorus of "bullshit" chants with "I AGREE! I AGREE!" is a classic to me.

I remember WOW Magazine giving them loads of coverage and pushing them hard. From a pre-mainstream internet UK this made them seem a much bigger deal than they actually were, especially when I'm sure they went as far as calling Homeless Jimmy the new Mick Foley. Their faces must be red years later, considering it's undoubtedly "White Trash" Johnny Webb who went on to become the new Mick Foley.

I really enjoyed that. Everything about this made me feel eight years old again and I sat there with a big stupid grin on my face for all of it.

I want to say the plan was for to be reveald it was Jeff Jarrett making his return after an absence but that may have just been hearsay. Hopefully the plan involved him smashing someone with a guitar because that certainly wouldn't have drawn any dimes.

Apparently TNA has blocked Joey Styles on twitter. I'm honestly more surprised that they haven't tried to get him to come on there so he can deliver a rant and whine about how WWE killed ECW and Hardcore wrestling and that TNA is the only true hope wrestling has. You know, the same spiel we've heard a hundred times. He's not good enough to cut a promo on impact. JOEY STYLES IS TOO GOOD TO CALL IMPACT?!

Those f***ing managers again. Like a bunch of monkeys trying to fix a light. They are looking to hire more people? How about this guy: He's just learned to double check the "To:" column of his email before sending. He's always here, bro.

While also trying to say that they were not purchased by Anthem. They want it both ways. Anything to get out of paying Billy the transaction charge anyone anything for any reason. Fixed for maximum Dixie

Anthem released a statement saying that the money issue with Corgan will be resolved. Long story short though, sounds like this was a case of Dixie trying to get out of paying Corgan, and now Anthem seeing if Billy will accept lessDo they know what a "fat chance" is?
